Again, you can discuss this case because there is confirmation. However, posts bringing up the father who disrupted the school board meeting will be removed. There is no confirmation that his daughter was assaulted or that there is any connection with this case. |
The second article includes statements from the Loudoun County Sheriff’s office confirming the Stone Bridge assault and arrest of the suspect. |
That is based on the Daily Wire reporting which I don't trust. The Sheriff's office only confirmed that a report exists. The results of any investigation are not provided and the wording implies that an arrest resulted from the report which is not the case. An arrest resulted from an entirely different case. The wording even confused you. |
The Daily Mail says that they confirmed it was the same person.
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-10083783/Loudoun-County-father-arrested-school-meeting-says-daughter-raped-boy-girls-bathroom.html "The boy was charged with sodomy for the alleged assault on Smith's daughter in May, but the sheriff's department did not release details of it at the time. The same boy was charged on October 7 with assaulting a different girl in a different school. A sheriff's spokesman confirmed to DailyMail.com that it was the same boy, but they could not reveal his identity " |
If you believe the Daily Mail, which I don’t. Do you really think the sheriff’s spokesperson confirmed this to the Daily Mail but nobody else? Why have no charges been announced with regard to the alleged first assault? Supposedly, there was a report and they have the alleged perp in hand. |
The kid was arrested and charged. How is that alleged? |
Wow. Be honest. You deleted the thread because you don’t believe the girl in Loudoun was raped (brutally I might add). |
I believe Luke Rosiak who originally broke the story. He’s my neighbor. The reason you don’t is because he’s conservative. |
No, I don't believe him because he wrote a series of articles about Imran Awan that turned out to be false. Those articles resulted in considerable harassment against Awan and his family (protesters even went to his kids' school and harassed them). |
There is no evidence beyond the word of the father and his lawyer that this assault occurred. In a much more recent case, the police have announced an arrest and the school and acknowledged the incident. Neither of those have occurred with regard to this girl's alleged attack. |
Where is the evidence that the kid was arrested and charged in the Stone Bridge case? The police reported on an arrest with regard to an attack at Broad Run but there was no similar announcement with regard to Stone Bridge. |
So is your standard that we can’t discuss issues in the news unless the people involved have been verified to be telling the truth or they have been proven to be guilty or innocent? Because in that case, the whole Van Life Couple thread should be shut down, as well as thousands of other discussions where people speculate about what may or may not have occurred. |
Those don’t match the salacious claims and details of the deleted post. |
The Daily Mail is part of the vast right wing media conspiracy where BS turns up in non-credible publications (like the Daily Wire) and then gets echoed by a report by a British tabloid (usually the Daily Mail). This playbook to whip up coverage of nonsense and push an agenda is well-documented and goes back to the claims about Bill Clinton’s alleged daliances |
My standard is that you cannot discuss an allegation that has no authoritative support and is based on an article by someone with a history of spreading misinformation. It is interesting that there is a confirmed arrest of a student alleged to have conducted a sexual assault. The police announced the arrest and the school confirmed that there was an allegation. Yet, nobody appears interested in discussing that case. Instead, all of the focus is on an allegation that neither the school nor police have publicly acknowledged as having occurred at all. |
