Just another way to look at it, but at end of the day, 3 of 6 age groups have a NOVA club on top. After that, only metric that matters is being in top 5 so you can attend post-season in Seattle for Champions League. Based on that, 3 of the top 5 (on your metric) show VA clubs, 2 of that 5 being from NOVA. Still showing NOVA doing very, very well. |
And NOVA as a whole has 24 teams with 11 of them in the top 6 with winning records. For a single metropolitan area that is pretty good. If you want to stretch it out to NOVA teams with winning records, ie .500 or above we have 14 out of 24. |
yeah, will be interesting to see what this looks like in another month. Richmond hasn't played any of the NC clubs yet. VDA, Union & Loudoun haven't played Charlotte SA yet. A lot will change. |
Agreed. Plus, some of NOVA clubs padded up their stats by beating up on Braddock Road and have not played some of the tougher clubs. |
BRYC has played a max of 8 games and only faced two NOVA clubs. |
Or, Carolinas haven't played some of the tougher NOVA clubs. Works both ways don't forget.
|
And legit ran from VDA 06. |
The point is, that it is a stretch to say that NOVA clubs have padded their stats by playing BRYC when only 2 of 4 possible clubs have even played BRYC so far. |
VDA have played 4 of the top 6. |
Worth noting CSA has not played the Courage - Richmond - VDA - Union - Loudoun or CESA. They had a fairly easy start to the year. |
Arlington 04 was top 3 in GA conference . They are 13th at 1-5-1 in ECNL |
I'm not defending Arlington or GA at all, but last year's results don't have much bearing on this years early returns. This past summer you had basically two years worth of turnover due to COVID. |
My response is in reference to the GA guy who thinks GA is remotely close to ECNL. Is that you? |
This turnover can be validated by comparing rosters you know. |
