- incoming classes seeing increasing numbers of foreign players
- increasing numbers of players taking advantage of extra eligibility years whether due to redshirting or NCAA COVID waivers. possible increased use of redshirt status too. This is more prevalent in P5 than anywhere else.
- college coaches leaving spots open due to roster uncertainties
- reduced budgets due to COVID years

- schools narrowing their recruiting focus to high performing clubs

So how does a BRYC girl get recruited?

PP made a booboo on that post. Fixed:
- schools narrowing their recruiting focus to the most competitive club leagues
- players/parents being proactive with reverse recruiting

How does players/parents being proactive with reverse recruiting keep people from committing to P5 schools?

But seriously, are you going to 😢 when your kid doesn’t go Power 5. Because the chance of your 👧 going Power 5 is slight above ⬆️ zero. The chances of your kid getting money and meaningful minutes is about zero.

Now, if you just want walk on status and a NLI photo op, you are lmore likely to achieve the goal.

Wow. PP here and I used power 5 just to tweak the PP that seemed to suggest that there were 4 or 5 clubs of significance. Of course there are tons. That was my point. Lots of places to go that would be great. Not much money though.

There is lots of money out there. Just got to pick the right school…preferably one where they are a top recruit….not the 4 or 5 recruit.

Most kids I know doing this are getting substantially over 50 percent athletic money.

Textbook definition of why Loudoun sucks azz. Kickball with U11 girls measuring 5’5 who will not be able to play soccer to save their lives by U13 or U14.

U14 is winning? U15 is winning?

It had been said time and time again that these would be the age groups that would perform because they are the first age groups to retain their talent from U9-U12 that Loudoun historically lost to FCV or McLean before they had ECNL themselves.

You don't have to like the style but the lack of results at older ages was due to loss of talent to other clubs.
