So many nasty comments.
I like to do a 3 day juice fast every now and then and I do feel great when I do it. I’m too lazy to do it myself so I pay for the service, but more than 3 days worth and I’d be broke. Glad you found something that’s working for you. Thanks for sharing! |
So what you are saying it that pissing your money away feels great. got it
|
Same. I was going to try to start using my food processor to make one green or bright juice a day. But not sure if it would work? Let's not come at me with comments about fiber and protein. One green juice with apples is about 80 calories. It's filling and nutrient dense so yeah. |
| I use my vitamix blender to make green smoothies. I add protein powder, spinach, banana, other frozen fruit, and milk. But I also eat lunch and dinner. |
| which protein powders do you like? |
I use Orgain. I prefer the chocolate flavor. They go on sale once in awhile at Costco. |
So you never spend money on anything that makes you feel great? Okay high and mighty one, you live that life and I’ll live mine. |
| I'm with OP. I love juice fasting and then incorporating it into my daily diet when I need more carbs/fiber/protein. I always feel great. Plus, it's just nonsense that people eat three square meals a day. Intermittent fasting is proven to boost metabolic health and longevity. Love your combos.OP!! |

Juicing definitely works, like if you're trying to drop a few lbs quickly.
But as a way of life forever, no. |
Congratulations on not understanding what's in juice. At least you'll get your carbs! |
| My 70 yer old uncle juiced for three months and then introduced lean proteins like chicken, fish and eggs for another three. He ate nothing else in order to reverse his diabetes. It was supervised by his doc, and the juices couldn't have too much sugar. He says it's the hardest thing he's ever done but he dropped 40+ lbs over six months and his blood sugar is amazing. Now he eats anything he wants on the weekends but goes back to the lean protein and juice at least 3, often 5 days a week. He also now eats grainy breads with heart-healthy fats like olive oil, avocados, etc. but he eats nothing processed except on the weekends. |
2 meals a day, fine. But one? Come on. |
Google “OMAD” . Millions of people follow this eating regimen and do not have eating disorders. I have been doing it for 2 years. |
I’m Indian. Not eating dinner is not traditional. This sounds like anorexia. |
I think you read the sentence wrong albeit it is weirdly worded. Sounds like he/she incorporates juice into a daily diet of carbs, proteins, etc. after fasting. |
