I don't believe this would happen. I also truly believed that Trump would quarantine in the WH. They have basic medical care available there.

I don't care for Trump as President at all, but I'm very worried about his hospitalization. He's our President, and this is a big deal for our country. I know everyone wants to spin this a thousand ways, but it's a big deal for the President to be hospitalized. And I'm worried. I truly hope he is fine and back in the WH soon (well, only until Jan 21). I know this is a political forum and everyone wants to score cheap shots. But a lot of Americans are worrried.

This is win-win for the GOP. Trump either recovers and gets Big sympathy support or he dies and Pence does better than Trump would have done without Covid. It increases the likelihood of a GOP victory substantially.
