There are petitions and gofundmes all the time from desperate families fighting to get FDA approval for last-minute treatments or therapy programs for cancer and disease patients. Most of them are denied or the patient dies before the paperwork has even been looked at.

Did Trump need to beg anyone for an experimental treatment not even out of clinicals yet? No. It was handed to him on a silver platter with six doctors and probably a dozen nurses on call at all times watching his vitals.

Why are people still dying? Because they're not the freaking President of the United States!

Is anyone surprised? This is the woman who spent the first six months of the presidency locked in a tower in NYC refusing to move to Washington D.C. because of 'her son'.
