Yea it has been debunked. These recent LA fires were in chaparral scrub NOT forests. This was not due to excessive fuels. This was arson and winds and drought. |
There were some fires in the forests (well what they consider forest there) and some in the residential area. They couldn’t do anything to stop the residential fires because some of the firefighters were busy fighting the other fires and there was NO WATER in the palisades to fight the fires with. Except the pool water which some homeowners luckily did use to save their own homes but not enough. |
Explain the lack of water in the freaking ocean view Palisades. Newsom was anti desalination. Ocean water would be a miracle for California and its a no brainer. In every desert, desalination of nearby water is done. It's common sense but Newsom was more concerned about disturbing the fish than he was helping California firefighters |
| The idea that this was nature is false. The fires spread due to failed politics and policies. Residents in California paying the highest property taxes in the country should not resort to using pool water to extinguish fires because city and state officials ran out on Day 3. The governor standing ocean side to announce a lack of water in the state is embarrassing. |

You are right. It was cause by electrical power line not being protected against high wind hazards. That regulation is claimed to be too expensive by the power companies. The housing stock is still mostly build of timber, single family track. Regulation forcing people to retrofit during renovations to more fire resistant buildings have been killed because it would cost too much. Cleaning vegetation away from houses is seen as an invasion of private property rights. You know government regulations. The state insurance companies were not allow new zoning based on projected fire hazard- ie climate change. Your area would have to have a fire before rates could be changed and more expensive fire proofs required. Again cost regulations. This was caused by the resistants to regulations and the low property taxes driven by republicans in the state. When ranking property tax from lowest to highest California comes in 19th. Virginia is 24th. Texas is 46th(oh they get you in Texas) . The water tank situation would happen anywhere tanks are used. The demand for water was too high and pressure could not be maintained to fill the tanks back up. That was after 3 days of fighting the fire. How many fires in a suburb area burn for three days? They could have built another salt water fire system but it would be too expensive. It would have to be maintained and pressurized from ground level. Look this is what republicans means by doing away with regulations, government rules and cutting taxes. |

WOW trump just ordered the military to circumvent california's water protection laws to get water flowing to the fire areas. AMAZING!

You are so dumb. |
wow you can't take the winning can you? |

| You realize it’s raining in LA. The aqueduct Dumpie is talking about doesn’t run to LA . The reservoirs are full. If for some stupid reason anyone listened to idiot MAGA and overfilled the reservoirs, you would get floods and mudslides. |

I live a few hrs from LA so drove up there this past wknd.
Fortunately the fires are all mostly contained. Plus the freeways (405/5) were free + clear. I took some photos from Hollywood but chose not to share them w/anyone as not to exploit the victims. But there is a lot of rebuilding that needs to be done. 🙏🏽 |
This is kindling. Without it fires can’t spread |
Whose idea said that? Video? Arsonists were arrested and videoed starting fires |
