+1 It was clearly an accident but negligence demands compensation to the victims and safeguards reinforced in the future.

He's got a wrongful death suit from the widower and a totally separate defamation suit for allegedly defaming a woman as an "insurrectionist."

He needs to settle some suits and just tweeting or giving interviews.

At the end of the day if the bullet wasn't on the set, no one would've been in danger. Whoever allowed/brought a bullet to set should be held responsible. I highly doubt it was Baldwin.

ITA that Baldwin as actor isn’t the one responsible, but Baldwin as producer hired everyone including the armorer.

Makes sense. He's been in Amagansett and sort of part of the community for a really, really long time. From before it became the ridiculous "Hamptons" destination that it is now. Just up & going has to be for a reason.

There is a least one person out there who knows THEY were responsible for that bullet being in the gun. But I think highly unlikely they would be worth pursuing for financial justice. Lawsuits go for the deepest pockets.
