Your child can play with the apropreate age group on the C team. No issue.

Describe the difference between a Misalligned and a Trapped player.

Stop trying to apply logic. Whoever you're argueing with probably has a Sept kid + they're super excited to play down for wins. Now that they've got what they want screw everyone else. You can't rationalize with people that only care about themselves.

Will be a national league soon. All ECNL clubs will be required to have at the very least an ECNL and RL team.

Most leagues picked 9/1 over 8/1. I was surprised and thought it seemed like the wrong decision but you are making it clear that is was the right choice.

Texas has an ECRL league for clubs second teams and an ECRL league for clubs with ECRL as the first team.

This is likely where things are headed.

Fear is the path to the SY. Fear leads to anger. Anger leads to hate. Hate leads to suffering.

ECNL already has a way for trapped players to play down.

They'll do somehting similar for the trapped SY kids born a month or 2 before the 9/1 cutoff.

But those kids have no other option. Why make an exception for kids who can play up on the D team?

Do they? I live in Texas an in ECNL club and I haven't noticed this. There is another division of ECNL RL that has 3rd, 4th etc teams of NL clubs, and also some first teams, but the regular RL division seemed to have some clubs first teams too. Also several Texas clubs have two teams in NL. Dallas Texans, Lonestar, Solar for boys with explicit first and second teams just in NL.

That happens even closer in with NorthEast (south) vs North Atlantic. The former is all first teams and the latter is all second teams for the NL clubs. Some of the first teams are great, but the level of competition overall is far lower than the NL b teams.

Saw the CA league and looks like a TX also now. Will this become a new league in 25/26? Where only second teams of ecnl teams play instead of the mix of local teams first teams

Starting in 25/26 but sounds like ECNL clubs have been put on notice will be required for membership for 26/27.

Misaligned made a choice to be in a different grade. Trapped no choice made to be in a different grade.
