Why so much concern about who the ED is? Shouldn't you be more worried about who the coach is or if you have enough players to field a team?

I'm more concerned about the deception of listing someone as ED on the website for weeks after she's no longer there, if the rumors of her departure are true, than who is ED in particular.
Often Soccer websites have inaccurate information. Doesnt it make it right but I am not sure they are as dubious as you think. Most of these organizations are weak when it comes to admin so information is often not current and inaccurate.

their admin is gfr's old admin. so what's that say about their admin being weak or not?

In this particular case - it seems purposefully deceptive. This is a club that is struggling to get up and running and the bio of their former ED gives them a credibility that they no longer have which they are still using in order to recruit players and give an aura of legitimacy that doesn't actually exist. It's shady at best and utterly fraudulent at worst.

It's absolutely dubious. They post on social media constantly, have removed the coach who resigned already, and have no players or teams to manage yet have a full time admin so why would their website not be updated other than to mislead potential recruits into thinking they're being run by someone with an impressive resume in NoVa soccer instead of admitting it's just a wine mom steering the sinking ship now?

All I know is that when the ED changed at GFR, everyone involved with the club got emails (1) when the former ED left, (2) announcing the search, and (3) when the new ED was hired.

And while I don't recall precisely how long after the departure of the former ED I first looked at the website, it was updated pretty quickly. IDK why it would be hard to fix if it's truly been weeks, unless the club didn't want the information to get out.

Right, and the prior ED was and is still with GFR so it's not as questionable.

Glad to see they are serving the underpriviliged students of Forestville.

FYI Everyone was told last night there won't be any boys teams at Riverbend next year. I don't think that's a shock to most people but it's official now.

Who is "everyone"? Was there a meeting?
Did they even have any boys show up for tryouts?

So Loudoun East boys teams will stay Loudoun East, but Loudoun East girls will be Riverbend?
