When did Germany attack Israel? |
Israel hits houthis, kills Hazbollah successor (a tenure of hours) and Assad’s brother in 24 hours.
Respect to them, but I don’t want American boys on the line for this/ Israel is spoiling for a war with Iran. |
Presumably, you are talking about during WWII. The easy answer is that the state of Israel didn't exist then. The longer answer is that Jews had very little ability to protect themselves from the Nazi genocide. That's the origin of the phrase "never again." Jews made a decision that they would never again be helpless in the face of genocidal hostility. Hence the reaction to attacks against Israel over the decades, and Israel's determined efforts to maintain military superiority in the region. |
I thought the phrase "never again" was supposed to refer to the world's acceptance of genocide/ethnic cleansing? |
I think Isreal's made pretty clear how much it doesn't care about genocide/ethnic cleansing of non jewish people. |
Yes, pretty impressive obliteration of terrorists. |
Shame on you for pushing such bias and misinformation. The U.S. State Department designates groups like Hamas and Hezbollah based on legal criteria and intelligence, not just "because the U.S. says so." Dismissing their designations and resorting to attacks on individuals like Blinken or Seldowitz is both irresponsible and baseless. If you want to have a serious discussion, bring credible arguments instead of making unfounded accusations. |
There won't be a genuine war between Israel and Iran. They are not neighboring countries. And neither is marching armies across Syria, Jordan and Iraq. Israel has the obvious advantage in projecting air power. But they are much more interested in destroying Iran's proxy armies in the region - Hamas and Hezbollah. They have their plate full. Iran, particularly the new president, has no interest in a genuine regional war. The regime is too weak politically to engage in a real war. It will merely be noisy for a while longer, but there will not be genuine military conflict between Israel and Iran. The only wild card is if Iran decides to cross the line and go full nuclear. That changes the dynamics in the region. Israel, Saudi Arabia, and the Gulf States may attack Iran very quickly if they choose to cross that threshold. But I don't think Iran wants that war. In the meantime, Israel's success in destroying the leadership of Hezbollah is quite likely to lead to a quicker resolution of the conflicts in Lebanon and Gaza. Iran is significantly weakened. Their influence over Lebanon has been seriously degraded. Hamas too is weak and hiding in tunnels and among women and children. Once Sinwar is dead, Palestinians can choose how they want to proceed. But Iran won't be much of a player in Gaza anymore, so Palestinians are on their own. They have no other regional support. |
Amazed at the level of ignorance, stupidity and antisemitic sentiments of many posters here. Would be good for you to read and study history and geography a bit, people.... and stop spreading misinformation and lies. |
They have American youth support. That’s the best support to have. Israel’s stuck in the past. Iran was never providing anything beyond nominal support to Hamas. Qatar was Hamas’s financier and support along with Turkey and by proximity Egypt. All US Allies. Hamas also gets support from Russia and China |
Nasrallah was the Shiite equivalent of Bin Laden, who was widely liquidated on the order of President Obama. Israel has done the world a tremendous service in taking out Nasrallah; thanks goes to them. Everyone everywhere should be celebrating this wonderful news and handing out sweets. |
Israel can’t accept they are the social pariah now. Netanyahu fumbled all of Israel’s popularity starting with the Democrat
party during the Obama admin. When half of Americas Jewish population and a major U.S. political left wing party is disillusioned with Netanyahu, that has reverbations for years to come and we saw that after 10/7. Netanyahu was already an unpopular figure among the Us left pre-10/7. |
Calling Nasrallah a terrorist is like calling David Duke a terrorist. He’s a terrorist in name only but he never left his basement. He just made videos saying Israel needs to be destroyed but he didn’t actually kill anybody himself nor was Hezbollah a major threat to Israel whatsoever. Israel’s just afraid of their ground game because Hezbollah beat ISIS. They want to defeat them via far away tactics like beeper explosions because last year Israel got ran off the field in 48 hours when they entered Lebanon. Israel funded ISIS over and over again and they kept coming back intermittently in Syria and each time Hezbollah among others like Russia, Syrian army, and under Trump even the U.S. beat them. Israel won’t admit they funded ISIS against the US and the Us and Hezbollah and Russia were fighting on the same side back during the Trump administration. Curiously, once the Israeli proxy was subdued, the Syrian war ended and people were able to re migrate back from Europe and the Us back to Syria. What a surprise |
I am sure we are going to see “ISIS” aka the Israeli security intelligence service make its grand debut in Beirut some time soon to fight Hezbollah and it will be branded as a “Sunni vs Shia” sectarian battle among crazy Lebanese Muslims who can’t get along even though sectarianism is as foreign as Chinese to Lebanon.
Israel’s tricks failed in Syria and it failed in Lebanon in the 1980s. They will never get the West Bank and Gaza to stop identifying as one or Lebanese or Syrians to split on religious lines. Israel is the one that may get a karmic cycle one day with their own political and ethnodivision of which there are plenty. Israel is a religiously divided, racially splintered, and classist country and they don’t have the unity their neighbors have |
You’re right. That never happened. Six million Jews= ok. 1,100 Jews= die die die they’re animals. You make them live worse than animals in a jail and wonder why they attack? A Gazan couldn’t even fish in the Med Sea for fish and clean water when it’s right there. A famine is going on because Israeli ships are on the sea along with American ships shooting anyone getting food. That type of cruelty is one that a kid can never forget. Hamas will be even worse in 10-15 years for Israel |
