The comment is the latest in a string of anti-law enforcement remarks, including writing 'all cops are bastards' and calling a police chief 'thin blue line trash,' that have surfaced as he tries to unseat Senator Susan Collins.

A retired federal special agent says conversations with current officers reflect 'widespread disgust' with Platner's comments disparaging men and women in uniform. 👮‍♀️👮‍♂️

Huh. I had written the guy off, but it sounds like I could be persuaded to like him after all. He’s right - too many cops are pansies and opportunistic cowards. Shooting up poodles and soccer moms because someone hurt their fee fees.

As for military, he was one so I assume he knows what he’s talking about.
