That comment was from 2020. Lot's of people were saying stupid things about law enforcement back then. I'm sure he'd walk back that comment now.[/quote]

🚨  Maine Democrat Senate hopeful Graham Platner called cops 'opportunistic cowards' in a since-deleted Reddit post during the 2020 BLM protests.

The comment is the latest in a string of anti-law enforcement remarks, including writing 'all cops are bastards' and calling a police chief 'thin blue line trash,' that have surfaced as he tries to unseat Senator Susan Collins.

A retired federal special agent says conversations with current officers reflect 'widespread disgust' with Platner's comments disparaging men and women in uniform. 👮‍♀️👮‍♂️[/quote]
