So, what about clubs boasting about college signings as promotion? We all know the recruiting has more to do with the player than the clubs. Issue with that too?? |
Professional career? Ok… |
|
Imagine all of the local clubs blasting it out when they RETAIN the players on their teams 😅
That’s the bare minimum. But the social media post shows FCVs stare of desperation… oh, and that they read and post on DCUM 😉 |
You know there would have been a huge “YNT signs with VDA” post by BP if she went there. |
Maybe. They already have a player there that is on the U17 YNT. |
College commitments are cause for celebration. Retaining a player at your club is not. Especially under these circumstances. |
Isn’t the opposite the case? Under normal circumstances, retaining a player is not a cause for celebration, it’s expected. When your club, however, appears to be falling apart, you would expect top players to flee, so retaining them under those circumstances is cause to celebrate. And it’s smart business. |
Seems like a waste of money. STJ could probably hire staff that isn’t a laughing stock and get some fields for the teams to use with the money they’re spending on NIL. |
Bethesda is still marketing / recruiting off Andi Sullivan. If this player does well in her career and FCV survives as a club, having her finish her youth days at FCV will pay dividends for many years to come. |
I don’t think so. Sounds like a waste of money. Bethesda’s program speaks for itself. Players don’t go there because of Andi Sullivan. |
Can one of them tell me if the NIL money came out of the practice field fund? |
Adam had to tell his investors that they do so he could fund one player staying. I bet she's getting paid more than most of the FCV coaches. |
In the early years, Bethesda fills half their second and most of their third, fourth, and fifth girls teams on the back of Andi Sullivan. They reference her in YDP tryout emails. |
Absolutely not. There is no practice field fund. |
