Can one of them tell me if the NIL money came out of the practice field fund?

I wonder who the practice field troll is. Clearly not an FCV family, as they long ago either got comfortable with the pitch that “we’ll get plenty of fields through the county’s allocation process, as we always have” or they didn’t buy it and have moved on. So why would someone else keep beating the proverbial dead horse?

Why do you think there will be an email about fields? Practice fields for spring season are set and in TeamSnap for every team. Practice fields for fall season will be determined by county allocation process done in summer and placed in TeamSnap for every team when fall season starts. Same as prior years. Club has made this clear to existing families.

Because we know there won't be revolution fields and families want to know what is replacing them before committing to something that won't work for us come fall when they populate on TeamSnap? Because new players want to know what their options are going to be before joining? This seems like a fair question since there is reason to believe FCV's fields will not be the same come fall.

I think its fair for parents to be told the location of practices for the next year before committing.

The bolded above isn't true. AB has stated, on numerous occasions that securing new/permanent fields are a top priority. He's also stated that a deal is in place for them and just needed "a few signatures" in a few days to get that done. That was months ago. He doubled down at ID sessions, telling new parents they planned to release the information (drawings, location, timing, etc.) the second day of ID sessions. That was a month ago.

Also because AB and BC promised on multiple occasions there would be a communication about fields. That it would be near Rt 28/7 in Ashburn. That they would have 1 or 2 turf fields by end of 2025 so practices won't get cancelled by rain like at bles park this week. Is this still the plan? Did it fall through? Their credibility and transparency is already shot with existing FCV players and that's why most have already chosen to leave. Now they are trying to get new players and it's reasonable for them to ask the same questions.

Wow—I wonder how they pulled it off.

I can only imagine she was thrilled with the new coaching staff! I can't believe anyone would follow someone to VDA with that coaching style.

I don't think anyone is following someone to VDA because of their coaching style and he can't coach every team at VDA. If VRSC is getting 60% to 70% of the FCV players, some VRSC teams will be decent but not really competitive with Armour, Celtic or anyone in the north - depending on the age group a middle to bottom of the table finish next season should be the expectation which would then mean no National level tournaments for those players to be seen by college coaches. Those 30% to 40% that join an established ECNL team will only make that ECNL better - any VDA or Union team that adds 2, 3 or 4 FCV players is going to get a lot better.
