Well, that must've been trying on our dear Michelle! Having to babysit this moronic prince and fake that she is enjoying it.

A. Why would Cambridges have any persepctive on anything? Both are pampered, rich imperialists.
B. Harry is one of them, and in typical entitled royal douche behavior, he wants to be prima donna too.
C. They are trash, always have been, royal family is nothing but pompous Habsburgs. Let us not forget that they claimed that 2/3 of the world is theirs to use and abuse as they wanted for centuries.
How is it that people admire and adore BRF, but moan the slavery in the founding fathers here? Shouldn't the people that brought slavery to North America be despised and considered morally reprehensible? How come they get the exception here? They ordered people killed all around the world! For centuries.
Talk about covering up your history! Nobody does it better than the bloody English.

If they really intended to be independent they would drop the Duke and Duchess title, point blank. The fact that they continue to be identified as such in all of their virtual appearances instead of simply using their real names (since their titles have zero bearing here) really tells you all you need to know about their intentions. Way to bite the hand that feeds them.

That is really rude and disrespectful. He has probably contributed more personally to the improvement of lives of children in Africa, specifically those infected with HIV than you could even imagine doing.

I really doubt he has done anything productive in his life. I will take a regular African nurse over a pampered prince any hour of the day.

You have no idea what you are talking about. It’s not his fault he was born a prince. It doesn’t automatically make him a brat.

Oh, my god! Just get a life and stop wetting your panties over a person who is nothing to you, and who has no idea you exist.

I must admit I haven't seen a photograph of Harry looking genuinely, truly happy since his wedding day. Who knows what that means.

Dang, it must be hard living a life with so much anger and vitriol towards others.

It’s just so strange to me that people are concerned about his life with Meghan, while he obviously has broken free of his Royal chains, but no one was so concerned about a young, single man living under the shadow and duty of his older brother and his wife, and the family that contributed heavily to the death of his mother.

The amazing thing is he can HAVE bad days now, he can be himself, and he can make choices about his life. Meghan may be in the drivers seat to some extent, but all of his life, the choices for Harry have been made by What’s best for granny, daddy, and the needs of Will and Kate and their brood. His usefulness became limited the day that Kate fell pregnant, as he was no longer the required spare, but of course, the Family needed him to play his role so Wills and Kate could play house.

I wish people would cut him a break. He is learning an entirely new way of life. He’s still fairly newly married, finding new work, a fairly new father, moved to a new country, and is under fierce speculation all the time. I can’t imagine how much pressure that is, especially when the British media hates your wife, and people hate her because she wouldn’t just sit up and shut up and be a nice princess so Kate could sit back for a while.

That's not why people hated her and that's a wrong word anyway. Everyone was largely sincerely welcoming of her when they first got married. The resentment came later when people came to believe she is someone who didn't care about learning how her new country and its royal family operates (into which she decided to enter voluntarily!) and thought she could make her own show on the BRF's platform and dime. You may have your disagreements with how the BRF operates but remember no one HAS to marry into it.

Currently, the resentment is only magnified by the behavior best summarized as "I'm doing my best to exploit the platform that was only made available to me because of the family into which I briefly entered". Be honest. Who would have any interest in Markle's opinions if she wasn't married to Harry? It's not like there's any special merit there outside of the title. People don't like her because they see it as cashing in on the family connection even while leaving the family behind.

The same goes for Harry btw but the resentment is lower in his case because at least he owns the family name by birth. Markle doesn't.

LOL, this is prime DCUM Blame the woman for everting kind of thought.

It’s like it never occurred to any of you that Harry *picked* Meghan exactLy because she was the antithesis of what was “expected” of him.

And his platform was decided before his birth. It’s his to Do with or without. As Americans, shouldn’t you kind of be applauding him for sticking it to the monarchy?

What do you mean, for everything? I am blaming Markle for the kind of sentiment directed at her. Harry is a different matter, although not that different.

He's not sticking it to the monarchy, how do you not get it? Who would care about Harry if he wasn't Harry? Sticking it to the monarchy would be walking out barefoot and going to be a teacher in Nepal. That sort of thing. Earning your own keep in a trade where your royal connections are worth nothing. I mean good for him for selling the title to Netflix. But let's not pretend he's sticking it to the monarchy. His sum total of saleable skills is that he's Harry Windsor.

A nurse he paid for. A hospital he paid for, continues to pay for, wouldn't exist without him. Slow Clap.

Did Harry pay for it, or the duke of Sussex through colonialism and slavery?

What about the land you live on PP. Not many Native American faces around here these days. How you live is a direct product of colonialism and slavery too. You idiot.

And, of course, the Indians stole the lands from earlier Indian tribes....

Pre Columbian America was a place of constant warfare and raids and violence, not some peaceful paradise.

Fascinating how people play the race and colonialism card while being utterly ignorant about history, including slavery and colonialism itself.
