I wanna know if I should vote for him.
He wants to do so many good things for the current citizens and longstanding taxpayers this should be an easy one.

Citizenship by birth is a federal issue not a city issue. Why would his opinion matter on this? Given he wasn’t born in the US but became a citizen and he’s representing a city of majority immigrants, children of immigrants, and transplants, I’d assume he’s not for citizenship by birth only.

Exactly.

He literally talks about seizing methods of production and building communes. In NYC of all places! This movement is insane.

He’s literally been an elected official from NYC of all places for four years and no one cared. Democrats could use him to say how open minded and big tent they were. This manufactured freakout is an embarrassment.

This could have all been avoided if he was open to visiting Tel Aviv on his inauguration and affirming Israel's right to exist as apartheid ethnostate.

“Israel’s right to exist as an apartheid, ethnostste.”

+1.

Good one.

It's quite amusing how Zionists are hysterical at his pro-Palestinian views and veiling their attacks as criticism of his social plans. Yet at the same time, they have no problem with giving Israel billions upon billions of aid. And just now, we're just set to give them 510 million more in aid despite all the assistance we gave them in their strife with Iran.

Israel also is a socialist country but they pretend not to be to be a friend of the US. The kibbutz is a socialist , I’d argue commie, idea and it’s pretty cool

The president is literally building concentration camps to disappear people with his secret police. The republicans are literally passing a bill that will starve children and kill people when they are kicked off of healthcare. The republicans literally have killed national and international programs that will kill people worldwide.

Please, STFU, snowflake.

Obama put kids in cages and deported a lot of people, most of whom didn’t have criminal records. Bill Clinton worked with Newt Gingrich to dramatically cut welfare programs. Where was your outrage and hyperbole then or is it only “starving children” and “concentration camps” when people with an R alongside their names are doing it?

People like you are why I don’t engage in politics. You’re insufferable.

Your examples are exactly why we may get a openly communist president one day because the Democrats have failed working poor and decimated the safety net along with republicans. Democratic socialism is the future of the party. This isn’t a glitch

So, so you know that democratic socialism is not communism, right? All of the happiest and most functional systems in the world operate under that model.

He is a full blown socialist. Bordering on communist. Don't attempt to water down his radicalism.
Democrats love to spew the phrase "threat to democracy." Well, this guy really is.

He can take a little boat to Cuba if he likes Socialism so much.

What’s wrong with this? She was born in Texas and moved back to the Me (lots of families did post 9/11) where she was known as the “American” in Dubai because she didn’t speak Arabic fluently and was American but then she comes here and realizes she’s not American (which DJT and folks like you would agree)

Do you not realize for first gen the question “where are you from?” Is tricky to answer. People do not expect you to say west Texas. It’s a question automatically Implying your otherness /foreign nature so she’s right

LIAR. She stated she was born in Syria. Mamdani PR team decided it was better to say she was born in Texas.

Most articles I’ve read report that she’s Houston born and I don’t know why that’s so hard to believe or why anyone would lie about that. Do you think a guy who’s foreign born and won an election anyway despite foreign roots would care to lie about his wife’s birthplace?

This poster has the emotional and cognitive intelligence of a child and is unable to frame any disagreement or differing perspective as anything other than lying. They are tiresome and best ignored.

No one is more anti communist than I am. But i hope this fella wins. And I hope more communists win in other areas. It’ll be good for the opposition.

In 2025 we had Biden’s presidency end and the inauguration of the oldest president ever….

And we we see have this small victory in New York in the same year….

Do you think it’s a coincidence?

Surprised they haven't already run over there to get their free universal healthcare and cheap housing that only New Yorkers could dream of

It's the first time I feel hopeful and like celebrating politically since Nov 2024. Dem leaders are falling all over themselves to throw cold water on it.

She said Syrian origin or from Syria, which she is through her roots. However, it doesn't matter where she was born as she is an American and didn't marry him for green card.

Exactly. China is both free market AND totalitarian. Neither China,Korea, or Russia ever tried Democratic Socialism. Although Norway did and they are one of the happiest countries in the world.

Agree on the first part, but Norway is a free market social democracy, not socialist or "democratic socialist." There are no countries that model what the DSA platform stands for.

Socialism and rich people co-exist. Don’t listen to low information MAGAs when they try to tell you that people paying a fair share into a pot to help society equals North Korea.

They aren’t smart and they have been conditioned to believe whatever the billionaires tell them via Big Brother Fox News.

At least Trump and co are just openly Nazis now instead of trying to to hide it.
