gee, this won't hurt the US economy at all for the next 40 years, will it?

Xi saw Trumps weakness when he got spooked by the bond market, and then excluded electronics and then cars. Xi is now turning screws.

Trump is paying with his 2 inch weiner while the rest of the world just goes about it's business of avoiding the disaster called Trump.

Oh wait till the Europeans start to build out their military. That is going to be about a trillion a year with 400-500 billion in weapon systems athat will be taken out of the US economy(Texas and Florida). The Europeans are not buying US made weapons and systems. The f-35 is estimated to go from 100 million a copy to 300 million. The European will be able to replace 95% of the weapons system they currently buy from the US with cheaper and more modern systems.

Also the Europeans are making deals with Chinese EV car manufacturers. The US is 14% of the world car market. China’s market is twice that size. It is looking like the US will be left behind in automobiles manufacturing and unable to compete on the world stage. Too bad for the Midwest and Southeast.

Trump already killed a big EV plant in South Carolina and wants to close all the other EV and battery plants in the US. That is 23 billion in investments and 100,000 manufacturing jobs gone. It is interesting that of the 37 congressional districts that have or were planning EV and EV batteries plants 32 are in bright red Republican districts. Those republican congressmen have no problem with Trump shutting these things down.

This, and sadly the GOP will let our country circle the bowl rather than put a stop to the madness.

No takers for the "First Movers". Trump showed his hand too quickly. No sane person would make a deal that quickly in a volatile situation. Trump is too chaotic.

There are no takers because no one wants to do business with the US (except for Russia and El Salvadore) - the Europeans and Canadians are moving on. It will be decades if ever, that the US recovers from this.

Note how there are no MAGA/GOP on this thread anymore.

Of course MAGA has fled. Anything real world is too hard. Better to yap about trans people in the bathroom than actually govern. They all think a crypto fortune is just around the corner and have no inkling of the permanent damage Trump and the GOP are causing.

Ugh. That is such a sickening list of pointless destruction. Trump must know he’s very unwell (despite the good health he enjoys from his golf tournament victories) and wants to make sure we all suffer along with him.

Nope. He is with Russia and everything is done to undermine the USA.

Simple, really.

Meh. Trump is too dementia-ridden and narcissistic to be with anyone. He admires Putin and probably still dreams of Trump tower on Red Square but he’s all about himself. Would bet good money that every university and law firm he has gone after has offended him personally in some way.

Another multi billion dollar bailout for farmers because of Trump's tariffs. DOGE that.
