And so much fun to watch.

What is it that you think Trump will accomplish as a lame duck President who will still be dealing with trials, lawsuits, and jail time? Just about everyone in his last administration quit and said horrible things about him. What super wonderful things did he accomplish in his first term? He’s going to preoccupied with handing out pardons to all of his followers from J6 and other loyalists, maneuvering to get all of his federal charges dismissed, handing out awards to Rudy and The My Pillow Guy, cozying up to despots and Putin, building monuments to himself and figuring out ways to go after Democrats. The last thing on his mind is actually doing anything that benefits the country and not him in particular.

You’re aware that Kamala’s staff did exactly the same thing, right?
DP

Cabinet members are different than regular staff. But, you know, not only did Cabinet members not want to come back, but so many people also left during Trump's stint in the WH.

Same thing.

It is not at all, but you are clueless.

So persuasive! Sorry, turnover of staff is turnover of staff and both candidates have this issue.

President Biden’s announcement that he was dropping out of the 2024 race stunned a number of White House staffers who believed he would stay the course.

Many reportedly learned of the historic news from social media.

“We’re all finding out by tweet,” one Democrat close to the matter told Politico. “None of us understand what’s happening.”

I wouldn’t be surprised if Joe found out about it by tweet too.

After his nap.

Wow, what a burn! Meanwhile your boy fell asleep during his trial and while his kid DS were talking at the RNC.

Come on, folks. Trump needs his naps to keep up his energy. He also wears diapers, right? I mean, that's what we want out of a Presidential candidate. A senile old man in diapers. I guess that's the GOP problem now.

Everyone says he smells like poop.

You keep saying this over and over again since someone said Biden was the first to poop his pants on stage.

If you don’t get that after the chaos of the pandemic, people are wary of an over reaching convenient, then you are the ones lost. It’s not just plastic straws. It’s mask mandates and gas stoves. All while the border is wide open, criminals don’t stay in jail, and wild spending leads to insane grocery bills. Focus on the things that matter, not micromanaging things like plastic straws.

and the right needs to stop the stupid culture wars.

The left’s view on girls sports is a liability for them, not the right.

With the current state of the world , please put this “issue” in perspective.

Oh, and bathrooms also.

Keep discounting this and pushing plastic straw bans.

Thank you!!!! I have been saying the same thing for a while now. Same goes for Hillary and Cassidy Hutchinson, who was always referred to as just Cassidy.

I’m not usually one to call out sexism but this seems pretty clear to me.

Republicans approve of straws up sea turtle noses

Plastic straws are actually critical for many with disabilities. It’s not a good thing to ban them.

And why can't the disabled used reusable, silicone straws? They're as malleable as plastic ones.

This is completely fair as long as we can fault a certain Texas Governor for throwing immigrants on a bus and plane rides to other states....

You realize you've created an agitative situation of pitting state against state, right. That seems to be what you leftists revel in.

Not really. If you're scared to death of migrants and hate them illegally entering, it surely would suck if a governor takes those migrants and gets them on transit to SPREAD even further out through the country.

DP. The point, which you insist on missing over and over, is that liberals are quite happy to pay lip service to welcoming migrants. Well, as long as they’re not in THEIR backyard. Out of sight, out of mind, amirite? Once they become a reality in YOUR life, then all of a sudden we have “a problem.” You people are the poster children for hypocrisy.

DP. Yeah no. Growing up in Texas, there were always lots of illegals. And they were fine - generally really good workers, good people, didn't get into trouble, weren't activists, just wanted to live their lives and get by.

Your view accepting illegal immigration and its impact isnt the majority’s in most states much less most border states.

People keep saying this and not providing any evidence. I would have noticed if 41 out of 44 cabinet members won’t endorse Harris.

I have lived 95% of my life with and around migrants - shopping, eating, living life etc., including growing up and going to school and my kids doing the same.

Now, I do think we need to streamline the process of immigration but that is a separate issue.

You are very much in the minority if you have no problem with illegal immigrants receiving free healthcare, housing, and education in the U.S.

You do realize that even those who are undocumented are largely paying taxes right? They are contributing to those things just the same as you and me. It’s not “free.”

Notice after lying to Americans for over 3 years, democrats think they are the righteous warriors of democracy, while talking about poop.

The comments about “poop” are so on-trend for Democrats.

The first comment was from somebody who said Biden was the first president to sh&$ his pants. But do go on.

Um, no it wasn’t. Read more carefully. You Ds are obsessed with $hit.

The alternatives either are too firm or not structured enough for many with disabilities: https://www.npr.org/sections/thesalt/2018/07/11/627773979/why-people-with-disabilities-want-bans-on-plastic-straws-to-be-more-flexible

Hillary wanted to be referred to as Hillary to separate herself from Bill. She campaigned as Hillary.
I actually think using Kamala is more about racism than sexism, because Kamala doesn't sound like a white person's name.

Personally, I think it's strange to refer to any public figure with their first name, and never would.

Quite the contrast now. Let's see how Trump likes being on the other side of "too old" criticism.

The border states where people grow up surrounded by illegal immigrants and who neighbors, lovers, etc. are illegal. Yeah...sure, cause the voter in Maryland knows so much about how illegal immigration is affecting America.

DP. Now this is hilarious. Have you even BEEN to Maryland recently??

Traditionally, men were referred to by last name only while women, out of respect and to differentiate, were referred to as Ms. (or Mrs or Miss) Last name. Switching to last name only isn't great because it erases gender, so referring to important women by first name only is not disrespectful, it's just shorter than the older reference.
