move the goal posts some more...now you're brining up U12 teams that are playing 11v11 that is not the same as U12 teams playing 9v9 with a 15 player roster...GTFOH |
Yes it it. Good U12 team will play their regular leagues as well as EDP as a U13 and 11v11 tournaments in addition to 9v9 tournaments |
i can't tell if you're trolling or you're dead serious...you just keep moving the goal posts - obviously if a U12 team is playing in an 11v11 league, then yes they'll need 15 players on their roster but that is not the same as a U12 team that only plays 9v9 competitions |
Unfortunately, this has been a byproduct of the FCV influx. Current VRSC parent here - and we know many girls that: 1) used to be on the VRSC top team, and left because they received an offer for VRSC lower team (bc top team was now majority FCV) 2) used to be on the FCV top team, and didn't join because they received an offer for VRSC lower team Growing pain for year 1. The 9v9 teams (2013 and 2014) both have 3 teams. Our team has 13 players...not sure of the count for the others but going with it....3 teams * 13 players = 39 girls. Gives Rev room to have 18 players on both GA1 and GA2 for 11v11 Maybe it is just more "VRSC speak" but they have stated numerous times that they don't want to be the next Loudoun Soccer with 5-6 teams per age group (lol - then look they have 5 2014B teams) - and want to keep the club capped around 60 teams. Quick count shows there are 50 teams today. My kid gets more play time with the smaller roster. There's also more opportunity to play up / down. |
Why are you rostering for next year this year? |
Because VRSC is now Loudoun Soccer 2.0 That mortgage ain’t gonna pay itself now, is it? |
Maybe you should actually read the previous posts for context, dumb ass. You only have a large roster at U12 unless the team is playing U13 teams the entire seaso , otherwise, you keep the roster small. |
What is it about having a big kid without using left foot is good? |
Your question is horribly worded. I assume you are taking a dig at a particular child/team. Maybe your kid should be better? If you are trying, very poorly, to say someone should need to use both feet to be a good player, that simply isn't true. Arjen Robben, Mo Salah (his left actually isn't terrible but he avoids using it), Kaoru Mitoma, Andy Robertson, and Hakim Ziyech are SOME players who get/got paid a lot of money to play one footed. "Lol they are professionals though, I'm talking about youth soccer where we need academies." PP, I know you won't actually say something like the previous sentence as your post was borderline incomprehensible. |
How empty is your life posting here at 5 in the morning? One too many beverages at the club’s bar? 1Fam |
This is probably the easiest part of the schedule for the high school aged teams, so it doesn't get any easier from here.
10s - what is going on here? how is Skyline the top VA GA team? 09s & 08s - think this was expected, VRSC at the top followed by SYC then Skyline and TSJ 07/06s - this is the one TSJ team that stayed largely together, so not a surprise they're the top for VA GA. |
In short, VRSC has provided no meaningful, substantial, quantifiable growth in any metric despite all the money, resources, talk, and booze. Interesting… |
This is a spammer. Can he be blcked please? |
Still driving in the car with a chin diaper and gloves eh lol |
Once again, just don't engage with them. They are pathetic losers with nothing better to do with their lives. If anything posting over them as though they don't exist is what pisses them off the most anyways. 😉 |
