If they called it “Chesapeake” like the Chesapeake Blue Crabs or something it could pull in a massive market from Delaware to Baltimore and all of Maryland plus around dc down to Norfolk which woujd relate more to Chesapeake than DC. |

The Baltimore Bullets were a thing before they moved to Washington. And the Baltimore Skipjacks were a very well supported AHL team for decades. |
Baltimore City was a different place 40 years ago. |
