Your ECNL Messiah Christian Lavars also said that he doesnt want players playing down. Sooo.... |
What's your definition of playing down? |
Play one or two grade lower, or play against players more than 12 months younger. Playing down is shameful IMHO. |
Because players are grouped by birthdate in a calendar or fiscal year in youth club soccer, by definition it would have to be players born before dates that define the age group. |
Everybody has opinions but classifying everybody above freshmen in HS or college and second year players in U19 as shameful is shameful. |
Why is this surprising? This has been the constant message for over a year+ now? |
What if you're playing one grade lower but you're not more than 12 months older than the players you're playing against? |
This is so off topic but can anyone confirm the dates of ECNL girls national playoffs in Seattle next July? All we got was “mid July” |
Is anyone else seriously excited to see how this all plays out?
Im stoked! |
encl is going to merge with usys |
And they will hire Trish the dish to be their maid. It will be glorious. |
Wont happen because USYS leadership wants to maintain control of their island + keep the checks rolling in. They're not going to sell out to ECNL. |
Agreed but they will work together, because every ECNL club is running USYS teams at U-little levels, and also lower level teams and rec programs that play USYS. |
I'd be more inclined to believe USYS buy out ECNL. A lot more kids plays in the USYS ecosystem, thus more money to buy out another organization. Plus it would fill the giant hole USYS has at attracting top talent. The E64 league was a joke. |
You can look this up as it is public info - USYS (not the Individual clubs) brought in 20’ in latest filings available. ECNL Girls and Boys brought in ~13M with far fewer clubs…. |
