Start by making your university campus a safe-space for Jewish students; then we’ll talk.

Feeling uncomfortable — or even feeling harassed — doesn’t actually mean they’re not safe on campus. And Bill Ackman complaining about what some undergrads say about Israel is no reason to put the full force of the federal government into trying to destroy an institution. (This is just one Jewish Ivy League, non-Harvard, graduate’s opinion, but still.)

And if the presence of KKK members doing what thoae protestors did made Black students uncomfortable and/or feeling harrassed?

Black person here. Feel free to go f--k yourself, you pompous, racist scum.

The KKK was created to serve as a paramilitary death squad wielding state power while giving the government plausible deniability. Its sole purpose was to murder and terrorize Black people back into subjugation as close to slavery as possible. At its height, its members were the most powerful members of society, including multiple presidents and countless governors, mayors, federal law enforcement heads, state law enforcement heads, and wealthy businesspeople. Today, the KKK remains in existence solely in the hopes of restoring an overtly anti-Black racial order.

You really have the audacity to suggest that the students protesting Israel's ongoing genocide on campuses are positioned in relation to Jews and Israelis as the KKK is to Black people?

Black history and pain are not yours to exploit as cheap talking points.

Trash.

DP. If that's all they were doing, that's protected by the First Amendment. But it isn't and you know it. The anti-Israel "protesters" are using violence to intimidate and harass Jewish students, taking over buildings, destroying property, etc... They are acting exactly like the KKK, but instead of hoods they're wearing keffiyes to conceal their identities. Same outfit, different cloth pattern.

No they are not and your diminishing the horrors the KKK did speaks volumes about who you are and it is nasty. How many people were murdered, killed, lynched, burned by the anti-Israel protestors on the campus. Zero. You cannot say the same about the KKK and similar white supremacists. Both the hateful racial mass-shootings in Charleston and Buffalo linked the shooters to these white supremacists organizations.

Reading comprehension isn't your strong suit, is it? "They are acting exactly like the KKK". The KKK concealed their identities (check), harassed people (check), destroyed property (check), etc... Are you denying these actions by current anti-Israel protesters? If so, I recommend reviewing the hours and hours of video footage from numerous news sources.

Who was murdered, lynched, drug by back of a pickup truck, or beaten to they bled? Oh, no one. Just stop you KKK apologist.

IMO the entire area is basically like the South after the civil war.

Harvard has started offering remedial math courses.

Yes, but the American students are filling the remedial math courses...not the foreign students he wants to keep out. Because other countries actually teach math and literacy in high schools.

It's not as though Harvard was unable to admit American students who have the skills. They chose diversity instead.

EVERY college and university in the country has international students, and has more of them than when you went to school decades ago.

And some of those international students are European WASPs, so that chunk isn't adding to the "diversity" that you seem to fear.

Am I responding to an elderly lady in Wichita or to a chat bot? SMH.

We know who's in the remedial classes.

The pro-Hamas crowd did just kill two people in cold blood in DC this week and set the governor of PA's house on fire last month. So maybe, the PP has a point that they are indeed acting more like the KKK than not.

how the elites justify this is beyond me.

Hmm. How about training researchers, producing research, and educating some of the people who will eventually become competent and even groundbreaking in their fields — in ways that contribute to the health, safety, and well-being of all of us. Sounds good to me! It’s a great use of my particular tax dollars.

I laughed (darkly) when I heard that Trump fired members of the team who developed treatments that likely saved his life when he got COVID. If there’s a next time, I hope he’s alert enough to understand it when he’s told: “Well, we were working on that Sir, but you and DOGE closed that unit down. The world’s foremost medical team working on what you’ve got is gone. Here’s an aspirin though.”

Endless research and treatments, but zero cures. Funny how that works.

Mare you one of these paranoids that thinks that science and medicine don’t cure people on purpose? We can step beyond why you can’t cure COVID, that’s probably too hard for you.

Have you ever read about the history of slavery in the Middle East in particular the role Islam played in the slave trade and when these practices ended (or not). Two points poor white folk from the mid west are saints for fighting a war to start ending the practice much earlier than most places in the world, and racism isn't the worst thing in the world. It's the only connection I could think of between KKK and Middle Eastern policy (pro Palestinian protesters). Seriously though it explains a lot about *those* countries. It amazes me how people here could imagine the end of slavery in the mid east would be that much different than the South.
