Why can’t you spell the name of the county you’re such an expert on? Curious.

Because they are just not as EDUCATED as you!

How did McAuliffe get the nomination? It boggles the mind.

He won an election, unlike Youngkin who was picked by party insiders.

Didn't Republican primaries give us Trump?

Youngkin said in the debate that he would support Trump in 2024.

IF he is the GOP candidate. You left that part out.

And, let's not forget, McAuliffe claimed that 2000 and 2004 were not won by GOP.

How is the “if he is the candidate” making it ok? You support the end of the rule of law. You don’t deserve to live here

You are so dramatic. People can disagree with you and it is ok. You will be ok and we will go on both living in the great state of Virginia.

No one is being "dramatic" You vote for Youngkin and you are a traitor to the US.

This is not hard people.
Democracy or Trumpism You pick. Your children will be hosed if you pick Trumpism.

NP here...yes...you are being dramatic...the only people who care as much as people on this board live within 30 miles of DC...the rest of the country go's on about it's marry way.

Not true.

People are fired up all over the country. At least in the areas with educated people who are paying attention.

Oh yes the EDUCATED people are paying attention. This is how Trump was elected so just stop. Talking down to people is never the way to gain their support. It has caused a large amount of division in the country and you continue to spew it. Even the uneducated have their opinion and their vote is just as important as yours.

I’m not trying to gain anyone’s support. Adults don’t need to be coddled. It doesn’t take a college degree to realize that the GOP is lying and trying to dismantle democracy.

I’m just sharing my observations. Many people all over the US are still fired up over politics. Much more do than in the past. Guess that was one silver lining from Trump - increased civic engagement.

Yeah, I wonder who the VA GOP would have elected if they had a primary. Even crazier?

Can’t trust their own people because they know they’re nutty.

You’ll never convince me that they wouldn’t have elected Amanda Chase and that was the reason for the convention.

🥴 Yes, most general election candidates win primary elections. That doesn’t make McAuliffe and Trump the same.

No to Terry McAuliffe.

I wonder - did DC-area GOP prefer Amanda Chase? Or was just the ROVA GOP?

She wasn’t happy with the convention process:
“ “While we came up short in yesterday’s rigged convention that allowed only 53k registered voters to choose our next Governor out of 1.9 million Virginians who voted for President Trump; God is still in control,” ”

I think you need to pay more attention to what Republican-run states are doing? Are you good with what is happening in Texas? Do you think January 6th was no biggie? I am so sad at how few people seem to care about the most basic things in our democracy.

A lot of people are moving from Democrat-run California to Texas. A lot of people are moving from Democrat-run New York to Florida.
In the 2000 election, New York had 33 electoral votes, Texas had 32, Florida had 25. Now Texas is at 38 and New York is at 29 with a lower population than Florida. California lost electoral votes for the first time ever, managing to replenish some of its losses with illegal immigrants. If Dems have total control of Virginia, we will be losing population to nearby states with Republican governors who don't raise taxes as much, and stay tough on crime, rather than letting homeless occupy everywhere.

I would think an abortion would be quite more invasive.

Do you mean people will move to…DC or Maryland? Let me check taxes in those places.

Maybe the people from CA and NY can bring some sanity to TX and FL. They sure need something.

In general conventions are dominated by activists and the more extreme candidates get nominated that way. Ron Paul did much better at caucuses in 2012, and even managed to take over the Nevada State Party, to the point that Mitt Romney had to form his own group in Nevada to handle registration and turnout.

Sure go ahead and help destroy Virginia

Youngkin is a liar

Schools he will destroy 100%
He wants a Betsey Devis model and he will bring her in to help. So bye public education

Quality education bye bye

Democracy bye bye bye

Awesome voting people you get our and vote

Asian men voting for Youngkin sure they want to vote for the racist POS and end up with nothing sure great idea. Not like Youngkin likes and supports the Asian community.

They are voting this way, the men and women, because of how Democrats are destroying the schools. VMPI, AOS, TJ, etc.
Your posts are not the sign of a quality education.

Why would you think that? Are you a man trying to dicksplain women's medical treatments?
