This topic has gone full circle now.

First Barca is just a money grab because they just do training and don’t play in leagues. Then they are a money grab because based on tourney results their teams, after being together for less than 6 months lose in low level tourneys.

Then Barca is a money grab because some of their teams play in ODSL while most of their league ready teams are in EDP.

NOW that their teams are doing well in tourneys, getting some teams ranked in the top 20 it is because Gotsoccer is a farce.

Since you all are so good at moving the goal posts, perhaps you should just move on to another thread.

Barca's 2001 team is no. 6 in Virginia (108 in the US) with 70 percent win rate. In my opinion, these numbers indicate that it is a good team, especially given that they were formed only 1.5 years ago. I do agree with you that $3K in training fees is too expensive, which limits Barca's ability to recruit.

You mean like Jeff Cup?

He'll keep moving the goal posts until Barça is accepted in to a tournament like Jeff Cup in a high enough bracket and then wins it. After that, he'll probably say showcase results don't matter.

But you have to beat weaker teams first to be eventually placed in higher brackets in tournaments, don't you? One step at a time.

Barca's 2001, 2003 and 2004 teams won 5 out of 5 games in EDP this season with combined 21-1 goal difference. EDP must be filled with bad teams....lol
