Surprising. Thought it would be a blowout. |
| do not expect OT? Any real game analysis đ§ |
Heard Visi was also without a couple of key players. |
Thatâs ridiculous. Visi is a great program. Thatâs just such an arrogant Saints thing to say. |
Visi has been going downhill for a few years and will be close to rock bottom after this year. |
The previous poster wasnât insulting Visi by expecting a blowout when SR just beat them pretty badly. Maybe a recency bias, but itâs only offensive if youâre over sensitive. Itâs not even clear the poster is a Saints supporter. Visi is a good team with talented players and multiple D1 recruits, and on a good day with everything clicking can play with almost anyone. These two teams often play each other close and the players know each other well. Visi should be proud with how they played, good effort, not a lot of careless plays, good D, and got a lot out of their players. SSSA did not play as clean of a game, unforced turnovers kept it close early, they just had more weapons and it was more difficult for Visi to shut off multiple threats, whereas SSSAâs D seemed focused on making things difficult for Visiâs top couple shooters. SSSA was about to pull away at 7-4 but Visi did a great job battling for possessions and getting timely goals and scored 2 goals in the last 2 minutes to force OT. Overall, an exciting, competitive game watching these ladies play some impressive lax. |
| The Notre Damer needs to quit with the fake flops though! College refs wonât fall for it! |
Holy Child will likely overtake Visi and/or Potomac next year in AA. |
College refs fall for it more than any refs |
And the 95 year old coach needs to hang it up. |
Holton 15, HC 13 |
in field hockey? because it won't be in lacrosse. |
Visi had one Senior on offense today. The rest were juniors (2 I think), sophomores (2) and a freshman. Visi will be fine. |
We heard the same thing in February about this year. |
Sounds like we should be talking more about Holton than HC. |
