Mad? Don't flatter yourself. Just laying out the facts that you try to hide that's all. The GFR 2014G were a very good team 2 years ago with a lot of talented players. The previous coach created a team with so much potential and establishing a solid foundation to the club. Funny how the talent left after a couple of months with ML. No one asks why? Was it training? Coaching style? Who knows. But everyone knows the best coaches don't lose players during the season unless they are not the "best' coach. Keep playing Stafford, VYS, the other 'talent' and avoid getting exposed by the clubs ML tries to avoid in VA. Definitely the "best" coach in Nova. BTW, if he is the best coach in Nova, then why do they not play the best teams in Nova? Don't bother with a retort, you will just embarrass yourself and ML even more.

Definitely parent drama contributes to this. Lots of parents "chirping" all the time. The talent that is created here at the early age, rarely stay. They go elsewhere and no one at the club has not identified the critical question of "Why?". Coaches are divided and badmouthing each other behind their backs. Its toxic and it continues to create a culture of uncertainty within the club and the parents. This civil war within the club needs to stop or GFR will be just another average club that is cannon fodder for the older teams.

Actually ARL, VDA, and Richmond (and several other VA teams that top out at NL) are in the league. Think they probably count as “big club teams.” LOUD and MCLN aren’t bc they are off playing GA bunnies instead of real competition. Tied for second is still second.

And the team was in the top bracket in WAGS, made the final, and was in a 0-0 final against a highly ranked PGH team, lost in sudden death penalties on the 6th shooter, essentially a coin toss.

This all can be easily confirmed on GotSport. But I guess you never let facts get in the way of your agenda.

It is just an average club, like every other community/local club (Valor, Herndon, Vienna, Mclean) in the area that has their highest teams in mid tier leagues. All their best players leave too, to move up to higher competition. Its normal and fine.

This is a bad take. The 2015G issues for anyone who knows had nothing to do with NM. He didn’t have anything to do with the team. Largely a result of inter-parent issues. Now they are rebuilding. A couple players left 2014G for the greener pastures of ECNL bound teams, now playing in GA. Team remains the highest ranked of any GFR girls team. Other teams are all doing just fine.
