Women don’t forget when they feel used
3 years or 100. You might forgive but u never forget. I think she never married she said and really fell for him she said. Sad I don’t blame her scinisizm He comes out smelling like roses She owes him nothing He jilted her and used her sexually Not forgivable |
| Do you mean "cynicism?" |
|
Haha yes
Thank you |
Totally agree -- cringey and creepy. And, if it's a shocker to you that people over 60 still want to find love and have sex, you might want to try talking to some people over 60. |
| Do you think the article will be mentioned in the live portion of the show tonight? |
|
Probably not. It's a 3-yrs-past ex girlfriend who hasn't put her name on her claims and supposedly doesn't want national attention, but has been speaking tocthe Hollywood Reporter (which sat on the story for weeks per C's niece). She has her version of their relationship and break up and he has his.
They aren't going to give it more oxygen. It's not like a story that Gerry is a secret Nazi sympathizer, or Gerry drugged and assaulted someone. Badically all this story says is that he had a girlfriend, she lived with him, they broke up under stressful circumstances (like all break ups), and he expected her to move out. That's all it boils down to. |
Note to self on’t ever go on a reality TV show.
They will dredge up some wacko from your past who want their few minutes of attention. |
I am drama adverse but it is boils down to more than that. He misrepresented who he was in very relevant ways . |
|
For the person who said he can’t keep a job…he had one for 14 years and one for 19!
Also, his wife was not a volunteer, she was a “Volunteer Coordinator.” That is a position in a hospital. You people are awfully critical, considering the fact that some of you you seem barely able to read!! |
exactly. We all have people from our past school, jobs, social, or family interactions that would tell stories about us that do not jibe with what we remember the situations to be. I can think of quite a few situations where my own sister would describe my actions one way and I'd be like "no way! That's not what I said/did." So what if his later-in-life jobs were not fancy. He was doing something productive. He wasn't in debt. He wasn't cheating the gov (like our former pres.). Gerry doesn't write the "chirons" for the show. That is done long after he has gone back home. He has no say in that. And, frankly, I can't remember seeing any articles or interviews where anyone asked him about his past work. Nobody cares b/c he's a 72 yr old man who is RETIRED and on a fixed income. He wasn't picked b/c he's wealthy -- btw, the regular Bachelor leads aren't exactly wealthy anymore either. This isn't a show about how women can catch a wealthy older man. The theme of the show is finding love in older age. Gerry is older (check). He's single (check). He's heterosexual. (check). He is in good health (check). And he looks pretty good (has teeth, has hair on his head, is tall). Check, check, check. That's ALL he's supposed to be in order to be the "lead." The women aren't supposed to be looking for a sugar daddy. They are looking for LOVE and companionship. He is willing on both accounts. |

And for those complaining that he wanted sex “for free”…the alternative is exchanging sexual favors for money or its equivalent.
Think about that. Is it really what you want to advocate for women on 2023? |
| Watching: Joey's hair is finally looking better. |
|
Hard to believe Gerry was cruel about 10lbs of weight when the women in his life/family are not thin.
Color me skeptical of the claim. |
Right. That’s why he chose the fittest/thinnest women for his final two. |
| Theresa’s coming across much better now. |
