The former HC at Taft took over the head coaching reigns at STAB down in Charlottesville. Will be interesting to see how quickly STAB emerges as a national power as I believe the school does have an element of boarding.

I think SJC will beat Hill Academy, lose to BL, lose to Culver, and a total toss-up with Saint Anthony's from LI.

The Cadets should beat Gilman, if they can't, it's a sign of things to come.

Totally agree… Gilman is the 9th best team in the MIAA (out of 11 teams)

Agree Gilman is a must-win for Cadets. But Taft isn't down. They have 15 kids already committed to top 15 D1 programs, plus several more committed to top 5 D3 teams and unranked D1 teams. They should beat SJC by 5+.

St. John’s isn’t playing the Hill Academy. Apparently they said it was too much money to travel for one game. They tried to get another but all the “top” teams wouldn’t schedule a game.

That’s too bad if that is true.

The reality is Wes and Garret & Co have pissed off enough area coaches and don’t want to do anything to help St John’s.

More like they don’t want to play tough games. Rather play games they know they will win.

This is why he's actively looking to leave. The school's own actions have put them opposite against even the WCAC schools. They recruit like crazy but not on the same scale as SJC. Speaks is a good dude and he's now looked down at by a lot of people in the community. He hates it.

Hahaha. Got some bad news for you gossip girls.… speaks not leaving anytime soon, SJC new school president makes it much easier for him. Another loaded incoming class on deck. Wash, rinse, repeat. You really do need a new source.

Whatever happens this spring, we have 92 pages of discussion about it before the spring has sprung. I don't know if this speaks to the passion around this topic here, or is just very sad.

SJC is inching closer to St. Anthony's, Montrose and St. Frances territory.

Relax dude, it’s HS lacrosse.

I’d focus on a school that is going to best help my son be prepared for life post college.

I’m not striving for my son to be Johnny lax bro in the PLL.

What does that mean (for someone who obviously doesn’t know)?

The first 2 infamously chose to promote sports over the overall health of the school and are now shuttered. One made the coach the head of school and the other couldn’t pay the bills due to the support of the team. St Frances did the same in Baltimore and is now sucking wind again after trying to be like IMG.

SJC hires a semi retired pal of plank whose only experience is having 2 hs boys who were good at lax.
