| Target is fully stocked with $10 sleds. No excuses this year for not having sleds for your children if it snows. |
|
*If*
Are you the same poster that gave non-sled owners shit because they didn't have one last year? |
20:48, this post made me think back to that thread. Maybe OP is trying to head off a potential fight if everyone gets one now. Planning ahead is a good thing sometimes.

LOL, I remember that thread!
Thanks OP, you are right -- it's probably going to snow -- if you don't have a sled and think you will want one -- get one now, they are cheap and easy to locate! (Snow shovels, too!) |
|
On a different note:
Have you bought your Thansgiving turkey yet? It's time if you want a frozen smaller one. If you wait another week, all the small frozen turkeys will be gone and all that will be left will be the 20 pounders. Don't forget you have to thaw the turkeys for a few days in your fridge before T-day! |
| Old thread has been bumped up. For those of you who missed it- check it out. Good times, Good times. |
Here's the link in case that thread gets shoved back down later on: http://www.dcurbanmom.com/jforum/posts/list/83780.page |
| Does DC ever get decent snow two winters in a row? Doesn't seem like it? I thought I heard cold and dry this winter. I'll be thrilled if it snows a lot again! |
| I won't be thrilled if we get dumped on again. We aren't prepared for such things here. |
| Would like to have some extra snow-vacation days. No telecommuting here. |
Yep "IF" so why don't you wait until the last minute and then maybe have to pay megabucks to get one at Strosniders or not get one at all. Or maybe it won't snow and then you will be ahead $10 bucks. Were you one of the ones with a potty mouth, who got extremely upset at last year's posting? If you care about snow, go to Target, if not, don't worry about it. |
I'm just going to tell my kids to share with the neighbors, since they are more prepared and I'm a bad mom. |
But now we can all be prepared. Buy your sled now!
|
Snow plow training would be nice. Those guys don't seem to understand that the blade has to be on the ground, not three to four inches, above it. Oh and that salting once doesn't really cut it. Our preparedness has little to do with owning a sled or not. |
Actually, that wasn't me last year. The worst I said was douchbaggery. Are you the poster that suggested that those without sleds were bad mothers who didn't love or care for their children properly? |
