Its time to buy your sleds for winter

There will be no snow this year.

You can quote me on that.

I got mine at Target for $5.99. My son spent the other night trying to sled in the living room.

I was laughing with the check-out lady - because I had a sled, a winter coat and snow pants. Man, I better see at least one good snow.

Eh, there won't be snow: I splurged and bought the sled, new snowboots, new parkas, and snowpants for both kids... Last year, no snowpants so they wore jeans (that got soaked quickly.)... this year we have LLBean snowpants, which of course means no snow.

And don't forget to fill up your car with gas in case it snows! I know that despite two back to back record breaking snows that shut down most of the city for weeks, gas stations were still able to maintain their supplies of gasoline and there weren't widespread shortages, but you never know. Gas up, gas frequently, and keep it FULL or you will die.

Are you the same poster that gave non-sled owners shit because they didn't have one last year?

Yep "IF" so why don't you wait until the last minute and then maybe have to pay megabucks to get one at Strosniders or not get one at all. Or maybe it won't snow and then you will be ahead $10 bucks.

Were you one of the ones with a potty mouth, who got extremely upset at last year's posting? If you care about snow, go to Target, if not, don't worry about it.

Actually, that wasn't me last year. The worst I said was douchbaggery.
Are you the poster that suggested that those without sleds were bad mothers who didn't love or care for their children properly?

I think you must be reading something into the original posting. I just asked why you didn't think to buy first. I treat snow as up there with a child's birthday. And I would never forget to plan ahead for my child's birthday. I did find out that quite a few people could care less about snow. No one said anyone was a bad parent. If you feel like a bad parent, then that is not my fault. Sleds are at Target now.

I learned this the hard way. If you get both kid's the LL Bean snowpants in September, this guarantees there will be no snow that year. Learn from my pain.

But seriously, why doesn't anybody here care about snow SHOVELS? Can you shovel with a sled? No, of course not.

kids, not kid's. Hate when that happens.
