Um, wtaf? He already had Zahara!! I wonder if favoritism toward his bio kids played any role in the family tensions.

I can't believe that quote was real. Why would they think that would be appropriate to admit?
That speaks volumes as him as a person. And poor Zahara will read this

This is really sad if his team did approve this comment. I used to think Zahara was his favorite kid too. There were so many sweet pictures of them together.

I did too. I guess the cute and cuddly stage will always be different

It would not surprise me if he just lost interest (turning to drugs and alcohol) once they outgrew the cute and cuddly stage and started needing real parenting beyond what a nanny could provide.

So many parents, including my dh ended up like this. He was very active when our kids were babies/toddlers but shut down during the middle school years. He got himself out of that rut but many people don't.

This describes my dad. Father of the year until adolescence approaches. He’s started (and abandoned) multiple families in the process.

Oh goodness not him doing it to multiple families. I am so sorry. People like that just need to get a fish and call it a day. Regardless of what people say, raising tweens/teens doesn't get easier.

So you haven't read the many articles over the years about their unconventional upbringing? That Pitt opposed, futilely? He was shut out of his children's lives from the beginning. Lost interest? He tried and tried but couldn't match Jolie's singlemindedness.

He’s got to be the most helpless hundred millionaire in the world. It’s quite remarkable that he could be so rich and professionally successful and be a pure victim in every aspect of his family life

Ironic that you would state that since millionaire Angelina Jolie has successful sold all of you on her victim persona.

He has way more money and power than her. Nice try. If she held him back from anything he wouldn’t have made a movie with Harvey Weinstein. He does not care.

I can’t really comment on her victimhood or not. However, there is NO WAY that a dad with his resources ends up with the amount of custody he has

For some people, children are an accessory. They don't want to do the hard work, but want the outside to think they are great parents.

I have 2 daughters and a son. I can make the statement: "I always wanted A daughter." Does that mean I only wanted one of my daughters? Or that I didn't want my son? Of course not.

It simply means in the context of a conversation I'm having, I'm conveying that I've always wished for a daughter and I'm in no way dismissive of 1 of the daughters or my son, all of whom I love dearly.

If you go on to read the article further:

"The reminders that he’s lost his children, is of course not easy for Brad. He loves his children and misses them. It’s very sad," adds the insider.

“He still loves all of his kids tremendously,” another source close to Pitt tells PEOPLE. “This whole process has been very hard for the whole family."

Agree with this take. It was a bit clunky but he is just overall sad. He has lost his children, lost them years ago. Whether he wanted to be a good father or not, he was prevented from ever being one.

It's pretty sad.

The whole article is to highlight his sadness about being cut absent from his children’s lives. He acted terribly on the plane, but he was never given a chance to rebuild his relationships with the kids, because his ex-wife purposefully alienated him from the children.

Bio kids. Because he made his feelings with the adopted kids known

No, that's you. You are making that distinction.

These posters must lack reading comprehension. The article states that he loves all of his children.

IMO, the Jolie-Pitt saga is a tragedy and Angelina is the villain. A father has been alienated from his children. Six children have no contact with their father. There are no winners in this saga except Angelina who got exactly what she wanted - to cut her children’s father out of their lives. She’s a selfish woman who is happy because she can keep her “best friends” to herself.

No we can all read find. It was a hurtful qoute that needs to be redacted

They hired a private judge. He was the same judge who married them in France. Brad won custody, but Angelina had the judge disqualified on a technicality. He was unlucky, because any other judge who couldn’t be disqualified and he probably would have gotten 50/50 custody.

He appealed to the CA Supreme Court on that ruling and was denied.

Jolie will be a helicopter mom if the kids go the Hollywood route. Won’t be long before no one will work with them.

He can still go back to the lower courts to file a new modification. That's what he said he would but never did.

None of them appear to have any talent. However, that didn’t stop Angelina from having a career.

I will never understand why they got together in the first place. They seem to have nothing in common.

If Brad didn’t want adopted kids they should have never been together in the first place. Their entire relationship was a farce from the beginning.

She had a unique look and now that her looks have faded so has her career. Not sure if any of the kids have the looks to compensate for their lack of talent. Need to have one or the other preferably both. If you have neither and you will be starting a line of pots and pans or footwear to sell at Kohls.
