'21-22' DMV LACROSSE OUTLOOK

One thing is for sure next spring is that SJC will be in a league of their own.

They were as good as it gets in 2021 and should only be better in 22.

Regarding IAC, I still think the Lil Hoyas will be very good. I suspect the IAC will be come between Landon vs Prep. Saint Stephens will play the dark horse and look for Bullis to fade a bit.

I think PVI improves over last season. “Their” best player is the MD commit. The Rutgers commit is a loss but they still have another D1 at attack and have a transfer coming to replace the player lost. The defense is solid. They will be improved over last season

PVI's goalie last season was the difference maker.

He might be their biggest departure from 2021.

They’ve reloaded there, however so all good! Prediction PVI will remain at the same level.

Middling WCAC? Losing to Episcopal and Landon not great. Stay within 10 of SJC? Given the quality of college players, it’s amazing they never won the WCAC.

The Rutgers commit who transferred back to his local public is a loss - he was very good as both he and the MD commit complemented one another based on their playing style.

I expect PVI to be very similar to where they were last year, 2nd place in the WCAC which is perfectly fine as no one from the area will come close to SJC next Spring.

I don't know if I would say reloaded there. The backup goalie is certainly quality but he is undersized and I think the best shooting teams will find they back of the net more than they did this past year.

Looks that way. Goalie and FO guys are next.

I predict Prep will dominate the IAC again. They have three 2023 starters who are ranked top 20 in the nation (two of them top 10). They also have the outstanding 2022 Fogo, goalie, and huge Navy commit defender. The next two years look very bright for Prep.

One of the Prep 2023 is not eligible to play this Spring.

I think the IAC will be closer in parity than it was last Spring. I wouldn’t rule out Landon or Bullis to make a run against GP.

Don’t put to much into the NLF rankings. Your club has to part of the group to get ranked. Tons of kids not on the list. It’s all about hyping their brand. Fools gold.

Prep will be strong this spring but saying they will dominate the IAC is a big stretch.

They graduated a ton of 3 years starters from their 2021 team.
