m Oh yes because they are so dumb they don’t realize she’d be 1 of 5 on the school board. They view it as a referendum on the school board and APS admin. If Miranda asks hard questions with obvious follow up, calls for votes on big policy issues, cuts through Loft’s lies and inconsistencies then they will consider it a job well done. I’m voting for Miranda because I think she will actually do that and I think it will send a clear message to APS that they aren’t going to get away with their BS as easily. The bonus is that maybe it will accelerate the dismantling of the caucus all together. I’m loving that it’s providing a spotlight on how bogus the whole thing is. |
Yup. And I’d do it again. Although this is the first time I’ve done it. This year has been such a disaster for my kids that lying on some stupid pledge to get someone who might question APS was well worth it. Total no brainer. And ACDC is stuck with my vote. |
There's only one candidate that has "gone low". The one who keeps slinging unfounded accusations at the other without any proof or receipts whatsoever. Kadera needs to stop before she loses the whole thing.
She also needs to google "digital blackface". Not a good look. |
I’m no Mary supporter, but I don’t think you understand digital blackface, because that Michelle Obama picture wasn’t it. |
Unfounded? hahahaha. You know exactly what Mary is talking about. Surprised you have time to post here, aren't you busy getting your Republican friends to vote for Miranda? |
Was that not a picture of Michelle Obama? And not a flattering picture either. Using a Black person’s image meme style for a White person to make a statement is digital blackface, period. The meme added nothing to her message but pettiness. Mary Kadera was wrong in her judgement to post that underhanded reply, and to use Obama’s image to do so. And because you differ in opinion won’t make it right. |
Psst, he is not alone. I don't care who the candidates are, I am voting against ACDC, period! |
Miranda Turner and her campaign is doing what they are supposed to be doing - running to win an election.
Mary Kadera is sitting on her hands and complaining. Turner wants it more. |
So, I got emails from two different friends about how they were voting. One from an angry Dad, and get this, he’s supporting Turner. Another from a former teacher and current PTA volunteer, who is plugged in to school stuff, and she’s voting Kadera. Sounds just about right. |
Mary Kadera's little slips are kind of reminding me of how last year I though Sandy Munnell was a solid choice and then her post-caucus AEM posts revealed that she's actually a nutbag. |
+1 Kadera = status quo Turner = accountability + change |
Is that what you’ll be shouting from the ice cream truck? Kind of wordy. |
This is what I’m seeing too. People who have been engaged in schools mostly like Kadera (handful turned off by boundary nonsense). People who are still angry like Turner. |
Umm, I've been doing this for years. I always vote in the caucus since my vote in November is useless. This is perfectly legal. The pledge you sign is non binding. |
You've gotta be kidding me. It's ok for Miranda campaign to openly encourage Republicans to vote in the Dem caucus - against the rules but you object to Mary using a picture of our former Democratic first lady just because she happens to be black. Oh my oh my. |
