Yes, this. I started off pretty undecided, both candidates seem fairly similar and kids will hopefully be back in school before the winner takes office. But Kadera’s people posting insane accusations on Facebook is a huge turn off. Accusing Turner of intimidating people with ice cream and puppies? What?? I was already leaning towards Turner before the latest round of nonsense but I went ahead and voted for her today. If Kadera’s people could keep their mouths shut and focus on the issues, their candidate might win.

I think Kadera's campaign has "gone low" a bunch of times. I don't think Turner's campaign has. I can see where people may complain about some of the people in APE. But nothing Turner has put out is anything like the dirt Kadera keeps trying to throw at Turner.

I voted for Turner but was feeling OK if Kadera won, but this is pushing me to the camp of "I officially don't like her."

Well now I know you’re straight making shit up, which is to be expected on DCUM. I am friends with Vishstadt and was talking to him about this race. He has only met Miranda recently and certainly is not family friends with her.

it doesn't matter. She has AEA's endorsement along with the endorsements of most of the current prominent democratic "leaders" (deFerranti, Takis, etc.)

I am a Democrat and can comfortably sign the pledge, but I think the whole thing is load of horseshit and Arlington Dems get what they deserve for trying to manipulate what is supposed to be a non-partisan race like this.

I went hunting for this after I saw this post. The complaints about a candidate standing near a school with an attractive dog somehow means voter intimidation???? I honestly could not care who wins. Whoever does will have a sucky life for the next 4 years because the SB takes an inordinate amount of time, pisses everyone off, and really doesn't have a whole lot of authority to get anything done. While I voted for Kadera because I think she's more competent, I kind of hope Turner wins because I have been so turned off by her and her group over this past year that I wouldn't mind her life sucking for a while.

On man, I’d never thought of it that way. Being an SB member sounds like a tough job for anyone, and probably much more so when you’re a one-issue candidate and your biggest boosters start yelling at you all the time because you’re a single vote on a five member board and can’t deliver anything on your one issue.
