For what it is worth, I am a Haynes parent who was critical of their limited Q4 opening plan on the other thread about it, but given their plans for IPL offering in the summer, goals for the fall (including before and aftercare) and the DCPS statement about Fall, I genuinely believe they will open full time if health guidelines allow it.

Another critical Haynes parent from the other thread here. I actually think that the fact that they are planning for in-person summer programming underscores the problem with them NOT being more aggressive about reopening for Q4. They're ok opening for academic "enrichment" in June, (not just low stakes, but NO stakes), but they won't open for actual instruction? It just shows me that they didn't adequately plan for what IPL or hybrid could actually look like. I think they'll reopen in the Fall, but I think this is a slap in the face to families who wanted IPL for Q4.
