It sounds like they’re going to give Sam and Soph a recording of this show or something. IJ posted that today is for them to know how loved he was and how much he loved them. It makes sense that it’s update.

Yes, please do! I was hoping someone had saved them! I wish I had! I've listened to a lot of stations and a lot of DJs in my 32 years around the sun, and Kane was always my favorite.

I think IJ and everyone are doing a really nice show for his daughters. As someone who wasn’t a big fan in recent years, I think it’s a nice tribute and so sad. He loved those girls.

I think that’s the point. No matter the controversy surrounding Kane, he was first and foremost a father who loved his girls. Listening to this, and seeing all the tributes, Kane was human and had his faults and demons, but he was a friend and loyal. It’s not something we heard much about in his turmoil. It’s nice to hear, and I am glad His family, including his ex wife can hear this. Sometimes when there is hurt between people we forget the love and the good parts. A

Why wouldn’t they be positive? There’s been lots of conjecture on DCUM about Kane but it was never confirmed that he did anything wrong. We still don’t know why he left the show or if he was removed. We know he had a contentious divorce and custody battle, that’s it. Beyond the “insiders” who post random insight that may or may not be true, we simply don’t have any proof of what was going on with him, positive or negative. And now he’s dead and can’t defend himself.

I think that was more of a joke, Samy frequently would say off color things while on the show.

I didn’t mean they should be negative. I meant that they were celebrating his life as opposed to mourning
