Is that a joke? Because you actually couldn’t get a Facebook account unless you had a student email. |
|
You'd think that with the billion articles talking about Millennials that people would learn to spell it by now. But here we are.
- Offended Millennial. |
Not only a student email, but a college email from certain colleges. Then it was just fun. Once they opened it up to everyone, it became stupid. |
That’s cyclic as well. It really does happen every generation. |
“They” being the millennials who created it. This monster’s on you all. |
|
The whole millenial whine summed up by op:
"Why don't you love me! Why do you love my younger brother more! It's unfair! Life is unfair! I are the one that made me this way, it is not my fault, nothing is my fault!" |
Please show me where they said that boomers or Gen X did things like ruin the real estate market, the birth rate, the diamond market, the paper napkin market, caused the student loan crisis, and did all this because they spent too much money on things like avocado toast. And the whole time were unjustifiably whiney about job prospects (even though rate of underemployment was at an all time high thanks to a long-term crappy economy). I do believe that all generations have had to deal with hard world events, but in recent memory millennials got it the worst and at the same time were blamed for it. |
Gaslighting.
|
Most of the Greatest Generation has been dead for decades. If alive, they are between 100-120 years old! You really know that many people that age to be able to generalize that way? |
| All I know is that I keep running into a bunch of people in their 20s who believe that a few google searches on a topic makes them an expert on said topic. |
Zuck is a douche, but it’s not our fault you’re all stupid enough to vote for Trump. |
LOL ok. And yet Boomers are the ones most likely to share disinformation. |
|
Zoomers are still teens or very young adults, so it's hard to say how they will turn out. They may be just as bad as Millennials in time.
I will say that I think Zoomers have it worse than either of the previous two generations. Their childhoods were marred by post-9-11 anxiety, their teen years had the pressures caused by burgeoning social media, and their young adulthoods will be scarred from the COVID year of isolation and the resulting implosion of the economy. They've also seen firsthand that the pillars that have held up society (political leaders, police, religious leaders etc.) are very flawed. I think it will be a very isolated and anxiety-ridden generation. |
|
It is so funny that Millenials have beef with the Boomers, with the Greatest Generation, with the Silent Generation, with gen X, and now with Zoomers.
Which I thought were generation Z, but ok, everything must have a snazzy name! Is there a generation you Millenials do not have a beef with? |
You’re mixing that up, hon. Boomers have a problem with everyone. |
