Are you f*ing kidding me? Can someone from Georgia pls explain how widespread this is or where this is affecting people?? |

Georgia voters are not playing around. I read that Stacey Abrams had registered 1.5 million voters this time around! Let's go BLUE. I can't wait til she announces her gubernatorial campaign. |
I am all for more civic engagement regardless of which side of the political aisle people are on, but this is just a lie if you read it from somewhere. Total registered voters in GA in 2016 was 6,637,939, growing to 6,935,816 for the 2018 GA gubernatorial election. For the 2020 election, it is 7,233,584. There is no way that Stacey Abrams registered 1.5 million voters. |
| If Georgia flips the senate, I'm willing to let every blue voting Georgian get in line ahead of me for the vaccine. |
Ditto Between a co-worker and I we mailed 125 postcards to targeted voters, encouraging them to early vote for Rev. Warnock and Jon Ossoff. I've never taken the time to do anything like that before. |
Georgia flipping the Senate and the new Senate finally voting for coronavirus relief is the only way states are going to be able to afford to distribute the vaccine. |
Georgia is important and so is flipping the Senate. But Congress is releasing the final text on a moderately-sized Covid relief bill this afternoon. They are scheduled to vote on it on Wednesday. The bill would include, among other things, funding to distribute the vaccine. We cannot wait until January 5th to do this - especially considering the Pzifer vaccine is unstable out of -94F sub-zero temperatures and can't be transported for longer than 24 hours anyway. |
This and a really special recognition for Stacey Abrams. |
Will you also quit calling us ignorant, racist rednecks?

I started writing my 50 postcards this evening! |
Agreed. Now get out and do what no one else can. Go Georgia! |
