Big difference between NLF rankings and IL rankings.

I’ll take mad lax 2018 team any day of the week.

Sorry, I’m not going to list the names of kids on a website like this. Would be very inappropriate. But yes, I was going off of the IL rankings which are far more accurate.

DCE 2022 just finished year ranked #2.

DCE is better than NL

could certainly change but the original question has a clear answer

Lacrosse Magazine just came out with year end rankings and DCE 2022 is number 2 behind the Hawks. Pretty strong concentration of talent in DC/Annapolis area.

Another DCE 21 just committed. This one to Yale. Way to go!

And one of DCE 2022 just committed to Navy.

Only at the 21’&22’ ages.

Next Level is better at every other year.

Well those years are really the only years that matter in terms of college commitments. So what if NL has better kindergarten teams.

DCE has done a very good job in only a few years of assembling the top teams in the area heading into recruiting zone. Look for this to continue.

There is no reason to believe that DCE will be as successful as the 21-22 teams for future years. For 23, DCE has a good team but both NL and Madlax are better. For 24, all three are pretty good but NL and Madlax are better. The US club rankings are far from perfect, but below are the rankings of the two clubs.

2023 - NL is 5, DCE is 17
2024 - NL is 9, DCE is 16
2025 - NL is 14, DCE is 15
2026 - NL is 39, BLC is 32 (note these rankings are understate that BLC is better for this age right now)
2027- NL is 5, BLC is not in top 20

DCE is a quality program but the argument that they are better than NL after 22 isn’t supported.

How do you think DCE will do with 2023s?

DCE 2023 has some really good players so those players will do very well. Madlax DC Dogs has the strongest collection of talent, but all three of these teams are going to have a number of quality commits in their 2023 classes. 2023 is a very strong year for the DC players IMO.

NL 2023 should be ranked 4th in the area. Not 5th in the nation

Behind who? Maybe DC Dogs? Empress’s two best players switched to NL because NL is way more competitive at the 23 age group.

NL 23’ is right around #5 in the nation.
