There are a couple freaks there that like to party after hours if you catch my drift

The entire analyst class basically sleeps with each other

LOL! That can't be true. Haha

You’d be surprised ... Bunch of horny 22 year olds with expense accounts. It happens a lot.

I had one guy on my team who took the girl on my team - both reported into me - out to a bar and then gave her Doritos for breakfast. It was quite the laugh the next day when it came out.

My boss took me to a bar and proceeded to hit on the same girl hard. They also left together. He later married another employee.

My boss’ boss’ stayed at the same hotel as a lot of people did, one night a peer of mine starts hitting on him, they left together and subsequently dated for like 2 years.

There was a lot of fooling around.

That owner is rolling in dough. He used to be a teacher - saw a market, and viola. Now he has a ton of kids, buys houses for them, whatever.

Really cushy jobs are the shady contractors for Capone that jack up the CV of their employees to keep the bigger bucks for themselves. It was a real s**t show there.

In financial community, you go and work for capone when you have nothing else or just want to relax for a few years.

Not true Cap One gets rid of 20% workers every year. Jack Welsh model , which means they get rid of plenty of good workers as well.

Agreed, there are some male managers, directors that HR should be getting rid of.

Cap One. Never get a job there in the beginning of a year. Bonus issue.

Vacation days seems to have be a disconnect between recruiters and employees.

Yearly reviews, 20% of employees are made to be below standards, means no bonus, or lower bonus, possible layoff, etc...
FSA as an administrator tries to deny claims that are legit medical expenses.

HR stinks period.

Employees were told work from home til Jan 2021 and that at least IT will not be going back ever.

They’ll conduct an “investigation” and then apprise your that they couldn’t corroborate anything and can’t tell you any of the details of their investigation. Why even bother. They exist just to rubber stamp and CYA.

There has to be more to this these days than just this. I wonder how many EEO or lawsuits they have settled. The harassment culture is pretty bad and I wonder why they protect managers even after various allegations?

I think they get their fair share of EEO complaints and conduct and “in-house” investigation that finds nothing wrong. You’re then faced with either going to the EEOC (which accepts about 1% of cases referred to them) or pay $600/per hour (plus 1/3rd of any settlement) if you retain an attorney. Easier to move on or suck it up unfortunately.

Yup, our EVP married and VP and she quit to be a stay at home whatever. Lots in inbreeding at C1.

I don't see them getting rid of 20% of the staff. Capone is like a permanent job and you don't get fired unless there is a misconduct. Non-performance is not one of them.

It's pretty bad at Capone. They would have to change their internal handling otherwise they would be slammed with big lawsuits that could be a big hit on the company.

BTW, you can get a bunch of attorney that would work on a flat % fee on harassment lawsuit. If they take it then it is easy to settle.

As I said earlier - one of the worst companies I have seen for sexual harassment.

So, recently a married senior director asked a colleague of my friend to sleep with him because she got drunk at a party at his house. Really? Later on, she found out that he had various other complaints against him but I wonder why HR/CapOne is protecting him. Most of the time, it's women in HR protecting other men doing this sort of harassment. Yikes!
