TMZ. “ Something must have happened during their quarantine, because Kristin lists the date of separation as April 7, the day they came back from the Bahamas. Jay lists the date of separation as April 21.” |
D’oh! Sorry, I totally misread that sentence! |
The 122 mill is just salary and bonuses from the teams he played for. He probably also made money from other sources like endorsements (even local ones can pay well), business investments, etc. |
Pretty sure she's broke and trying anything to get more money. Kristin filed for full custody - he wants partial, an earlier separation date (so she gets benefits quicker), and she is demanding that the courts make him keep her on his life insurance policy as sole beneficiary. Which is... ![]() Kristin had in her filing: 'She denies that Husband has always been the available at home parent and primary caretaker of the parties' minor children. Wife would show that she had been the primary residential parent.' Jay said in his filing: 'Husband has always been the available at-home parent and the primary caretaker of the parties minor children. She is also asking for Jay to maintain a life insurance policy with her listed as the sole beneficiary. |
I started hate-watching the show and actually found them both endearing. Sort of sad about this!
I am so naive, I totally thought they had a great marriage! Seemed to have great chemistry and he seemed fine doing more of the SAHD thing while she ran the biz for a while. I did think it was totally unbelievable that she ran the company. I mean come on. She is the "Brand" like Jessica Alba is to her company, but she's not calling the shots like a CEO. More like an Olsen twins set up when they were young and owned a company but adults ran it LOL. When she was stuck in the Bahamas wherever when COVID hit, Justin her hairdresser friend had an IG post where he laid out their schedule, saying they were working out, watching the kids, and spending a few hours on their phone "running their businesses." Um, if you own a small business like UC and the world is in economic crisis a CEO would be spending more than a few hours on an iPhone. Come on. |
Pretty sure that life insurance thing is illegal. I mean...they were only married 7 years and what if he wants to give it to his mom or a new spouse?
The kids can get trusts untouchable by Kristin. |
It depends on the details of the policy. If she was smart enough to take out a policy on him then as long as she pays the premiums the policy stands even if they divorce. This happened to a co-worker and one who was scared of his soon to be ex-wife. |
Yeah that seems crazy to me too. |
Yes, but if she took out the policy - she would be paying the premiums and he has no choice. She is asking the courts to make him maintain the policy which means she wasn't paying it and never was. Its his policy. |
How can she possibly think she'll get full custody when he's been at home retired for 3 years and the flight records from the private planes and hotels she stays at will be introduced with a quickness? |
Well, then that is two good news! Cannot say that it could not have happened to two more deserving people...I keep fantasizing about Melania finally cracking and going Rambo!!! |
She took her two gay friends as witnesses to the island for the divorce.
She was making her case. She has 3 kids and she will get child support. The kids are set because they will inherit some money from the dad. She did good for her kids. |
Kristin is from the OC. Orange County is widely known to be very Republican. |
Not just that, all the episodes where she praises him for staying with the kids while she travels. By the time their divorce is final, he’ll be retired for half the oldest kid’s life. |
She only lived there for 3-4 years. She was sent to her dad when she was 14. She lived outside of Chicago up until then. That said, I definitely think she is a Trump supporter. |
