Choosing your college based on mascot

This thread is amusing.
My DD absolutely refuses to consider Dickinson entirely because she is turned off by the Devil mascot.
She says it would not sit right with her soul to be cheering on the Devil.
DH thinks that’s ridiculous since the school would otherwise seem to be a nice fit, but I admire that she is true to her gut anbout it.

my daughter is a college athlete and took Wake Forest off because she didn't want to be a Demon Deacon.
