She went to HYP (can’t remember which) wrote a history book and is a professor at cal state Fullerton. |
The one two year ahead of me is married to me ![]() |
Valedictorian died a few years back.
Salutatorian is a tenured professor. |
Undergrad at BYU and PhD at Duke in medieval literature. Now teaches at a liberal arts college in Florida. |
Our valedictorian was really into drugs (small high school on the west coast). She went off to a state university but I don’t think anyone has heard from her since college, 20 years ago. She never attended the reunions and I don’t think anyone could find her on social media. |
Harvard, Yale, Oxford, Supreme Court clerk, and now a big name law professor. |
We are now mid-late twenties and graduated from the best public high school in a mid-sized city:
Valedictorian is in MBB consulting and I assume will go for a top MBA soon. The next few (I don’t recall who fell exactly where, but we were all friends from taking the same higher-level classes) in no particular order: Music PhD at top school Biglaw after top school Physics PhD at top school Investment banking but after getting another degree Marketing analyst In doctor of osteopathy school All things considered a very successful bunch. Others who seem to be doing well (the soon-to-be doctors and dentists come to mind) tended actually to not be the absolute best students in terms of gpa as many in that bunch were also into athletics. |
We had two:
One is a prof at Georgetown: After something like Yale+Harvard The other is a senior tech exec at Google: After something like Yale+Stanford I don't think either has ever been to a reunion, but I think they are really good friends to this day. The both seem happily married and pretty well off. All the high achievers in our high school seem to still be good friends with each other 15 year later, even though they all seem to be living in completely different cities/countries. |
So many valedictorians become doctors! |
Mine went to MIT then Harvard business school and now works for a major tech firm |
Yale, Harvard Law (was on the review), now a partner at a big-time law-firm. |
I worked on Wall Street 30 years and loved it. Last 10 years had a corner office with a water view. Got put out to pasture Wall St and came to DC to die of boredom. Too many goof offs here to get any real work done |
She is a physical therapist. Married her high school sweetheart and they have two kids. One is a doctor and not sure about the other. |
