Why is Blake Lively so overrated?

I didn't have any positive or negative opinions until seeing her interview from 2016 and the recent one with her costar Brandon Sklenar. I can't believe how rude Blake Lively is! |

+1 such an unkind, out of touch and rude person. I also get the sense that the domestic violence stuff goes against the grain of her “brand.” Her life is curated for perfection. Blake Lively doesn’t “struggle.” I am not a fan anymore. |

I think she comes off as a complete dummy in most of her clips. Lots of people in Hollywood are very dumb. Justin Baldoni is not dumb and probably couldn’t deal with her stupidity, but was stuck with her. (I mean - crying that she felt “fat shamed” because he asked HIS TRAINER how much she weighs so he could prepare to lift her?) |

I feel like she mimics what she sees succeed in other women’s interviews. Like Kate Winslet does a master class in being a feminist in interviews and shooting down sexist questions. But Blake is not getting sexist questions. She’s just acting like she is and it’s falling flat.
Another example is I think a vogue interview she just did - I’ll have to check the publication. but the interviewer was talking about her writing, that she helped Ryan improve a scene in Deadpool, and that she helped improve some of the scenes in her current movie. And Blake said exactly what she said in this cringey 2016 interview about the costumes… “Everyone always wants to talk about the baking, no one ever wants to talk about the writing.” It’s like she memorize that cadence to use in every interview. The reason people talk about her baking is because it’s a big part of her brand and I can pull up 20 videos of her insta with different chefs or her pictures of cakes and things. And we are just now hearing about the writing. and the interviewer Ask her if she does any original writing? She admitted that she didn’t. That a blank page terrifies her, but she likes to come on other peoples canvases and make improvements. Which is fine. That is technically editing, but whatever I get it. And it’s cool that she maybe has a skill in that. but people are not talking about her as a writer because she’s not a writer and has never been credited as one. |

She looked the best she ever has in that film. She was vert sexy in it but I don't find her sexy or that attractive otherwise. She and RR have overexposed themselves and when you're not that interesting or unique and are constantly in people's faces, you quickly wear out your welcome. That's where they are now as celebrities. |
