Women-do you like short men?

I don't get upset about it because I am secure and do not care. I generally don't find white men attractive. It is a preference. I like tall, olive skin with black hair. It is just what I like. So if a man likes fat women so be it. If a woman likes tall Nordic types, good for her.

If you find yourself upset and offended that people have preferences it says that you are insecure. Every pot has its lid. Lighten up people.

I agree. I prefer the James Dean type of guys with brooding good looks. I lean away from garish or fleshy features but that's just me. Others like that stuff.

I love short men. My shortest was 5'4 to my 5'7 (and I wore heels, too). He was an asshole, but not because he was short.

There reason people are bent out of shape is that for some reason, it is socially acceptable to say bad things about short people. I have a short son. People are constantly saying, "wow. he's really short" right in front of him. He's 11. I cannot imagine people saying in front of a heavyset girl, "wow. she's really chubby."

Good for you.

To me, it's like bananas.

I like mine almost green. I don't think it's weird that my sister likes super ripe ones. I'm glad she eats them because I hate wasting food. Women who love short men ensure there's a lid for every pot.

You can't ride both sides of the hobby horse. Either there is nothing wrong with being short (in which case, saying he's short is just an observation) or being short is not desirable (and it's rude to mention it).

People think there is something wrong with it and feel free to say it. I don't think there is anything wrong with it. Also, are you saying that you feel it is fine to say anything that's true? So you will walk up to people and say, "wow, you are old!" or "wow, you are fat?"

Green bananas are smaller and less fleshy.

My future DH is 5"9, but his license says 5'"11. I'm 5"8, but don't wear heels often.

I'm in my mid=thirties, so my preferences went out the window.

Exactly. It is just a preference and people are so outraged. I am sure most women prefer tall but will accept less tall men for various reasons. Just as most men prefer super models but accept a lower standard for the same reasons.

I don't understand some of this outrage over the tall preference.

No men under 6 ft for me. My husband is 6'6" and I wouldn't probably give him a second look if he were shorter. I am bi and I dated girls shorter than me, however.
