40 year old men who ride bikes... in packs.

Most 40+ cyclists are rude and full of themselves, despite how out of shape they are. they wear girls clothing to be cool. but they just look stupid. they try to take on cars for some reason and always lose, despite their beautiful tighties

Going 15+ mph on places like the Mount Vernon Trail? You are NOT going with the flow of things. You are going way too fast, and almost never yielding to pedestrians.

On the road? Find roads that are conducive - not just any road. Don't block car traffic, and obey basic laws like stopping at stop signs and red lights. You're not going to gain sympathy by just saying "because I want to" for your little hobby.

Thank you for posting this update. That poor woman. I've been hit by a biker as a pedestrian. It was horribly painful but thankfully he didn't kill me.

Alternative - someone laughed at him at Starbucks when he showed up in a skimpy mesh singlet and running shorts that showed far too much butt.

Yeah, it's definitely a personal vendetta of some kind. Nobody should have this much hatred toward cyclists without a backstory.

I'm a 30 something woman who took up doing centuries (100 mile races) for a while and I dropped it after a while bc of these guys. I didn't find it fun to hang out w them, and I was stuck w them all the time. I wanted a nice community and it just wasn't a good fit for me at all.

+1 there are a whole bunch of these Peter Pans at my work and they have their own little email group. I am on it because I bike at lunch, in normal gym clothes. You should see the stuff they email each other about. They are very weird, especially about the clothing. Shaving too. Yuck. It is like they really think they are pro racers . . . these guys are all over 40 and drink up the elevators. Some ride in and don't even shower, just change in the office out of their Peter Pan tights. Doesn't help the stink though.

You should find a women's cycling group or go on some women's only rides-don't quit riding!
