No. I don't think so. I think that their relationship was already unraveling with him doing better career wise than she was. The surgeries that she had gave them both publicity and put them both in the public eye in a noble way.

I think that they genuinely care about each other but they were beginning to have some major compatibility issues and it all finally just hit the fan. Brad probably was becoming less discrete and Angelina had had it. Might as well split while he's still earning lots of $$$. Ya know, for the kids.

And he kept nagging her to take better care of herself, and she didn't want to hear it. They had fights about her weight loss. So now she doesn't have to hear it anymore.
