Atonement - the library scene

Oh wow, yes. So unexpected (I hadn't read the book) and intense. And that green dress.

The talented Mr Ripley where Matt Damon has to kill his lover, and is saying how much he loves him as he chokes him. Haunting.

I love that movie. One of the few movies I've watched more than once.

The Christmas morning scene in Stepmom. I cry every single time.

The crucifix part in The Exorcist terrified me.

The rape scene in Monster with Charlize Theron. I had to leave the theater because I thought I was going to be sick. I didn't even go back in to watch the rest.

When Mufasa dies in The Lion King.

The "i love you" speech in the car in Chasing Amy is one of my all time favorite movie scenes.

YES! I had forgotten about Stepmom. I saw it with my MIL and we were both sobbing at that scene.

When Harry Met Sally New Years Eve ball drop

When Harry Met Sally, pretty much the whole movie.

The first scene of "Cliffhanger" where the girl's harness breaks and Sly Stallone can't save her.

That actress was a childhood friend of mine. It's weird seeing the horror on your friend's face as she falls into the crevasse.

Monty Python - "Just a flesh wound."

Yes, and both times Telly has sex. The first girl looks like she's 12.

This one is also "don't laugh" but...

The scene in Home Alone when Kevin escapes into the church and gets to know his old neighbor. The choir's "oh holy night" is so beautiful and I grew up in that area, and just seeing scenes of the town at Christmas takes me back.

The scene in Parenthood where Keanu Reeves says You know, Mrs. Buckman, you need a license to buy a dog, or drive a car. Hell, you need a license to catch a fish! But they'll let any butt-reaming asshole be a father.

That was the part where my friend and I turned to each other and said, "Nope. That's it. Never doing it. Never having kids. Ever."

Shawshank Redemption - so many scenes. Get busy livin', or get busy dyin'. The scene where there the warden pulls the movie poster aside and sees the hole in the wall. Brooks was here ... so was Red. Love that movie.

Someone earlier mentioned the rape scene in The Accused - yes!! That one haunts me. "Want to play some pinball?" Ugh .

The murder scenes in Dead Man Walking.

Final scene in Braveheart.
Ending of Dancer in the Dark

Can not watch one second of either movie again.

The first appearance of The Lone Biker of the Apocalypse in Raising Arizona.

The scence from Raiders of the Lost Ark when the Ninja type is shosing off his swordplay and Indiana Jones shoots him.
