You need to name names. |
How do you know one of them? |
I don't know any firsthand, but if I did I wouldn't mention them within the first 10 minutes of meeting someone. |
Well, it looks as though they cloned Jude Law. And Chester, yum yum. "Chet Haze" sounds like a porn name though. (Colin needs to work out. He obviously has the potential.) |
Nothing juicy. ![]() |
Met Chris O'Donnell several times in the years after college. His now- wife grew up here and he was buddies in college with guys I knew. Nice but a bit of a dork. Super short.
Billy Bush from when he lived here. Such a tool but most people acted like they thought he was the greatest guy. Met and hung out with Matthew McConahey at a bar in Georgetown. A friend of mine from college grew up with him in TX and be was in town visiting her. He was laid back, really Southern, hot. And how funny is this - David Hasselhoffs' younger sister went to highschool with me. She was a totally freak, dressed all in tight w/black jeans, motorcycle jacket very 80s druggie style. |
Same experience with "Dr." Angelou. Dewars was her drink of choice and she was not a nice woman. |
Sweet. Was he nice? How aware of his hotness was he? |
We lived in Southern California and when our house was on the market we had Diane Keaton, Debra Winger and Edge from U2 come to see the house at various times.
Met all of them and they were all really quite nice. DW introduced herself as "Mary" but our agent had told us that it was DW who was coming to see the house. Edge was on his way to South America for a concert and he arrived with his wife and also his manager plus a couple of bodyguards and, of course, his agent. We used to get numerous requests from movie production companies to use the house for filming and they paid handsomely. But they required us to vacate the house for several weeks and would essentially put all of our furniture into storage and bring in other furniture, etc. They said that they would restore everything to its original condition and pay for any damages, etc. It did not seem to be worth the hassle even though it paid well. |
I also know her from Sidwell. She's a totally normal, thoughtful, bright individual. I don't know anyone who knows her personally that has a bad thing to say about her. |
When Diane Keaton was on the Colbert Show a couple of years ago to promote her latest movie, she seemed so flighty. I don't think she was drunk, but I wondered if she was high. She even seemed to make Stephen Colbert uncomfortable and he's usually pretty unruffled. |
He was very nice. Down to earth and talented. I wouldn't have even known who he was if I didn't know his name. |
She is eccentric. Look at the way she dresses with gloves and the general unusual outfit. |
Ok, here's my favorite celebrity run in. A few months into my first real job in Big Law, I was dispatched to our NY office and given 5 million things to do before I got there. I flew up to NY on the shuttle then hopped in a cab to get into the city. I wasn't finished with all my tasks so I was working in the cab, not paying attention to how close I was getting to my destination. I had papers all over the backseat when we pulled up to my NY office. I stepped out but was bent over with my body in the cab and butt sticking out trying to get all my work together in some sort of organized fashion. Then I heard a very distinctive voice behind me that I immediately recognized say "are you getting out so that I can take your cab or what?" It was Ice T. I froze, freaked out in my head for a second and then backed out, turned around and said, "I'm so sorry Mr. T." I'm from the South and was trying to be respectful. I didn't stop to think about what I'd be saying if I put a "Mr" before "T". As soon as I realized what I said, I think my mouth dropped and I probably made some sort of grunting sound trying to apologize. He did not find this amusing. He called me a "dumb bitch" and walked away. He was with a woman and they both were wearing full length fur coats. This whole exchange was awesome. |
I have been friends since childhood with Bruce Springsteen. We still get together often. He is so down to earth. |
